Is it just me or has the last 3-4 months been incredibly square? All of my idiot friends that bet public favorites and have never cashed out are up four figures which is a lot for them betting $50 a game. Trying to figure out what the hell has changed.

Im going through my annual 2-3 week downswing where I question if I was ever good at any of this to begin with and have i really just been running hot for 4 years. I know of another group that has been doing bad this month too.

yeah i've been getting gaped the past couple weeks. i guess if it's gotta happen, it's good that it happens early in the season so all the idiots who dole out high limit prop accounts don't freak out immediately and can collect a couple times before the savaging begins.

last night was the kicker. Was having an ok prop week and of course the best defense in the league by a lot makes alex smith and the KC offense look like the greatest show on turf.

What is a good sample size for knowing you have an edge betting on a particular sport?

Like for example just betting straight up win or lose on UFC over a 150-200 fight sample and having a 20% roi, that could easily just be variance right? Or is it strongly indicative of an edge?

Same for Tennis, how many bets are enough to determine if we're +EV or not?

Comrade HITS, I think I have seen today one of the most extraordinary sights that anyone has ever seen...roundabout 10 o'clock yesterday morning, I was peeping down the scope of my AR-15 when I saw a square, waving his arms. Two of them got out of their trench and came towards ours.

We were just going to light them up south side Youngstown-style when we saw they had no rifles, so one of my homies went to meet them and bout two minutes later, the spot between the two lines of trenches was swarming with squares and sharps of both sides, slapping hands, head-nodding (always upward, as is custom) and wishing each other a Happy Christmas.

Perhaps your detail could also use the holiday in the snow to relax after your sure-handed and overwhelming victory. I wish you only the best, may your yuletide be restful and rejuvenating as I'm sure more danger lies ahead...

If you are of the mindset that if someone wins a fight then they are the better fighter then you are already making stupid mistakes all round.
