Looking for a parlay combinations calculator - any suggestions? Looking for a parlay combinations calculator - any suggestions?

Hello

So a few of my friends and myself have been doing fairly well in soccer betting lately. Mostly we do around 4-6 game parlays and spread roughly 200$~+ across 25-30 bets and hope to hit one since they pay out well. We've won 4/5 weeks recently for some solid money between us

What I'm looking for is a way to figure out the different combinations of parlays for picks we make (specifically soccer/premiere league) similar to what hedgeline.com offers. Hedgeline is an online parlay combinations calculator pretty much what i'm looking for, but it is extremely out dated, has some issues with the inputs for the odds and they only offer up to 6 game combinations (not to mention it is subscription based after a free trial =/). One thing I think that is convenient from Hedgeline is that they allow you to remove picks that you think either won't hit or just dont want in general which is convenient (and no, this isn't an advertisement for them, infact i recommend not using their website haha)

I haven't been successful in my search online. If anyone is able to point me in the right direction I'd much appreciate it. I didn't really know where to start, so I figured this sub-forum might be a good place to ask. I know that I am probably able to figure out the total amount of combinations by doing some math by myself, but I really want to avoid that if possible as it will make things much easier for me.

Thanks in advance to anyone that is able to help

If you can't write a simple parlay combinatorics program, your optimal betsize on any soccer market is 0.

On a more helpful note, you shouldn't be touching parlays, especially if you don't want to do any maths. In fact you shouldn't be betting at all if you don't want to do maths.

Nice threadsaver, but I prefer more meat in the a$$ lol just kidding, yeah people always tell you not to parlay but so far I'm parlaying better than straight bets. If you have your picks that solid, I would do straight bets as well in that case you don't lose your little money in parlaying. About your question, why don't you use 5dimes to calculate for you then cancel the selections? 5dimes is a bit tricky, if you see the winning prize is too good to be true, absolutely you have one or two bad picks already. I hope this helps. GL brother!

The point was, given that you said you don't have a program, don't do any maths and basically hope for the best with parlays, your current strategy has no solid basis and is almost certainly losing in the long term, and the gains you have so far are just variance.

Hey-
thanks your your post

I understand that. I don't have a program/tool, which is why I was seeing if anyone had one they could suggest for this type of stuff. In fact, I wouldn't even know where to begin if I was to try and create such a program as I never have made one before. I'm not even the one that makes most of the picks that I've been betting, I follow my friend I grew up with who knows the sport better than I do and I chime in when I feel like I can contribute something. I feel like I'm probably not the first person in history to want to use such a tool though. I get basic math, and as math gets more advanced I'm lazy/not quite as good and quite frankly a parlay combination tool would be a convenience to my friends and I, but it isn't necessary obviously

His post was still fairly condescending and straight up ******ed imo - just because I can't write a combinatorics program means I am automatically a losing bettor (which I probably still am longterm but I risk within my means, don't bet too often and feel comfortable with the decisions I make.. I'll live) makes 0 sense and I'm sure you can understand that. Being able to write a program and knowledge of sports are two separate "skills" imo and completely unrelated to one another, but to each his own

The reason you got hammered is because you basically came here and said "I bet the double zero in roulette because it pays out big if I hit. Can someone write a program to list all the other numbers I can bet?" If you had a legitimate reason for betting long odds parlays you may have gotten very different replies.

Yeah pretty much. And don't mind RickySteve the majority of his posts are condescending (albeit correct).

The thing is, sports betting (especially if you want to link bets as with parlays) is fundamentally mathematical so my advice if you want to succeed in the long run is learn some maths.

As for a program, you can learn to write a simple console application in C or C++ or many other languages. This is pretty much your only option unless you want to buy one from someone else or have a tech-savvy friend who will code it for you.

A ring-tailed lemur can spit out parlay combinations in a Google doc.

Koko the Gorilla can run an EG optimization on it.

Do these guys charge by the hour or commision? They sound like the experts I want to hire. Only if the fuaking monkey is part of the team though.
