Try it! I used to do the exact same thing with NY tracks. I'd buy the form, mark it up and then video tape (yeah im old) the race replays in the evening and watch them. Then I'd write on an index card (one card for each race) a single line depicting the type of trip each horse had, so I could refer to it.
That's called trip handicapping, it has a lot of merit but, nowadays with twinspires and other places, you can watch race replays at the click of a mouse so there isn't a need to keep such index cards.
Let us know how you do and look forward to some racing stories from the northwest!

Just mad at myself for being such a pussy and going with the chalk. Pick 4 paid 4k, really sick price, i singled the rosario horse in the last race, and i used 2 horses in the 7th, and 5 horses to start.
Going up to Saratoga for the day wed. keeping my fingers crossed it doesnt rain, wish me luck fellas :-)
ugh, you gotta put those beats behind you and move forward, man.
Those negative thoughts will eat you alive.
Good luck at the spa!
*I haven't done my race of the day due to personal strains.. I will try to get back in the groove soon. Cheers!
