Well SOB!!! Thanks Walk....Day i have an MRI and fell asleep instead of cap...I was on him for $20 W for obv name play reasons in his debut.

Should of known with Abrahms,he brings horses back quick. Honcho drew the rail in his 1st start for Abrahms, believe it was Garcia with the mount, and with BA running at a .00001 clip with 1sters,especially UH sired 1sters,..He broke slow, but made a crazy quick midstretch move that caught my eye,you can go to the tape to see, at 50-1. I havent watched the replay of todays yet,but at 33-1 and a Place trip, hope you made a couple bucks.

OFF TOPIC beat story to entertain you...

Freehold Raceway Thursday March 25.

Pick-4 races 7-10.

$1 ticket 4/1,3,6/1,2,3,4,6/3,4. Cost $30.

Race 7) 4 horse favorite runs away by 5 lengths
Race 8) 3 horse at 3:1 beats odds on favorite
Race 9) 4 horse at 20:1 beats odds on favorite

Here we go in final leg!

3 is paying $868. 4 is paying $1800.

3 horse FABULOUS GENIE is going gate to wire and on the final turn the 5 horse CRUELLA HALL takes a run at her. The 3 is the favorite at 1/2. The 5 is 125:1, that's right and goes on to win by a head and pay $252 for a $2 win ticket!!!

Bad news no $868. Good news is two 3-of-4 consolations good for $185 each so my $30 wager returned $370. (I want that $500)

Is this serious? A 1/2 beat by a 125-to-1 shot!

P.S. Had ICE BOX in the Florida Derby and missed the exacta and superfecta. BALLS!

Oh Kev...

I watched race 7, then had to run into work so I had no clue of these events until the dust had settled. Of course in my mind the dust has not settled yet!!! LOL.

This isn't the worst money beat I have taken to be sure, but 125-to-1 really???

I dont see a whole lot today, but there are a few spots to make a little coin. I am playing the early and late PK4...I am going to give a running total such as Kev does,i went back and it looks like im almost -700 ytd /PK4 AND 6 wagers ytd. I will give my exact play and cost when i do.

Triple your in the right spot with that story, good capping gone bad....OUCH I am considering playing a Jimmy "The Greek" Snyder PK4 today just so i can say i hit one....Ive made money this year, but none so far on my exotics.

Kentucky Derby Future Pool

Can't resist putting a little action on ODYSSEUS. This horse looked so good on the track prior to the Tampa Bay Derby and the race speaks for itself. I guess to me he fits the "could be any kind" label. Hope he does not drop below 15-to-1 in the pool, plus I will have a little exacta action with horses that look to have breeding plus running style.

Dubai - what the heck...

2) 3 Sirocco Breeze
3) 11 Desert Party
4) 9 Musir
5) 7 Kinsale King
6) 8 Bankable
7) 7 Youzmin
8) 3 Red Desire

Good luck to all.

Who does everyone like in the Derby Futures Pool 3?

I have Sydney's Candy in pool 2, was thinking about trying to get him at a price here too. I don't really see his front running style working over 10 furlongs, but I like Talemo as a jock and think he's hungry after what happened last year. I was also considering Alphie's Bet.

Who do you guys have in pool 3?

Oh dear me...

Bankable runs second at 17:1, beaten soundly by Al Shemali at 145:1.

$1 exacta pays $1,337.20. $1 trifecta $11,562.80.

I broke even on the race thanks to the $9.20 show price.

Najdor here ya,welcome back to the HRT...

I didnt get a chance to put my tickets in yesterday because of a family obligation, but it looks like fading the 1st or last leg of my PK4 plays seems about right,lol...

Taking this evening for just poker, but i do see there is a NZ bred horse running on the 6.5 downhill turf at Santa Anita in the 2nd (Crossing The Line) ML is 5/2...If my recall is correct he won last out same course, but ALL (NZ )bred have been killing the downhill course. Only play today is 6/12578 $25 exacta, and $20 tri.

nice pluck yesterday... A NZ bred with Tyler Baze riding! Free Money! Wish I would have played yesterday. haha.

T Baze is up there on my list of jockeys that I always give a extra look at no matter what horse they're on.

T Baze, M Garcia (obviously) seem to be my two faves

Also like Eikleberry out of Turf Paradise, nice young jock showing promise, but I don't bet TP very often. Only when I'm fooling around for short money.

For some reason, I like Aikenete at 48-1 (currently). I'm throwing a sawbuck on Aikenite, Noble's Promise (25-1), and Caracortado (46-1).
