You want to save horse racing dont televise it only way and that's not happening.
Get apologists like Byk take to air talking avg vs optics I mean talk about ignorant.
Hey there son what you crying about? Took you to the horse track on Travers day of all things got you the fat pretzel soda front row on rail what's your deal? What that? New York Thunder? Hell boy it's just within the averages toughen up. Uh huh
I think horse racing is on the way out. Idk a lot of tracks are closing lately and it seems like California government isn’t too fond of horse racing (maybe I’m wrong- I know it’s big money etc but I could see Del Mar and Santa Anita doomed down the road).
Idk, I feel the sport could be over if a maple leaf Mel or ny thunder event happened in the derby or maybe a big undercard race when a ton of eyes are actually following. Only
Die hard are watching Saratoga on a Saturday/ Sunday. I don’t think a lot of the casual fans are watching fox to see Saratoga unless they are betting.
Ny thunder event- I felt they should have held off on that race for 10-20 min to rack the track. I’m guessing the track was super hard as it was packed down due to an insane pop up thunder storm. Idk why they can’t wait 10-20 min and delay the race on a big day. I mean I don’t know if this helps bc ny thunder supposedly has had leg troubles recently.
