Ran off the first 8 yesterday at the Spa and missed the last. Had a cool H2H against Jann Lunny on DW that went in my favor 65.90 to 63.00 caught the winner in the DQ'd race at 6-1 when i was $20 behind to help me get back then caught the place horse following race at 9-1 and closed it out. The $$ does not mean chit i just enjoy going against top horseplayers.

Looks a lot like yesterday's card very tough. Did get the A choice home in the 8th yesterday @ 11-1 and i think biggest price on the day at Toga. Just some excellent summer time races at The Spa. BOL and as always your 3 to fade.

Whitney today and looking forward to seeing Frosted...I was listening to something the following day and heard his speed fig and said 'What the F did he run" WoW ! Said it a couple times so looking forward to something special today at the graveyard of favs. Maybe some drizzle early in card but i would call it dry all day and i am capping as such.

Think I like effinex and noble bird in the Whitney. Frosted ran 2 times at toga and lost to keen ice and Texas red.... Solid horses but nothing to write home
About. The travers loss was obv pace related but the dandy last year... Was a bad loss for the horse. Think he obv regresses based on met mile.

No real pace in this race. I like effinex and noble bird. Effinex at 3-1 or higher is a great play imo. Noble bird could wire the field of he's loose on the lead and we somehow see fractions like the dandy last week. Effinex is very unpredictable.... Prolly runs great race or junk prolly. Frosted is favorite no doubt but 3/5 is comical, if the public somehow bets him down to 2/5 or 1/5, you would have to be crazy in my opinion to play him on the win side. I might play a small exacta with noble bird, comfort and effinex. Prolly tossing money away but worth a shot at beating frosted. I feel he doesn't like the surface at saratoga so I think playing against him is smart move.

Anyone hear if nyquist will be in the travers or what horses will go? Think it should be great race. Would def be against betting exaggerator if track is fast.

Paola queen killed my p4 ticket. I played a $120
Ticket where I used 4 in first race and was super shocked Paola queen won. This game is rough. I was losing anyways bc I went all in 2nd leg except favorite and lowest odds horse. I was shocked Frosted went right to the lead in the Whitney. He made it look super easy.

Seeing him in the classic against Cali chrome will be great if both stay healthy. Think edge goes to cc no question but that should be a great betting race.

Btw the last race at saratoga yesterday, I thought lady Lara went off at insane odds for her class . Horse just finished 4th in a loaded g2 at belmont and has been racing in all graded races. To drop down to a stakes race where many horses were not racing against traded company makes me question the guy that sets the money line. How can you put a horse like that at 6-1. The morning line can be quite comical sometimes.

I didn't bet the horse but at 3-1 had to be one of the best value bets at this meet i believe.

Unrelated to horses...

So 1st Pre season game in Canton tonight and my Dad would take me each year starting when i was about 7 to i was 16. The field used to be grass and the corners of the end zones were the party spots and my Dad would have me and his friends son run cover so they could get there cooler of Genesee Cream Ale in. He would throw me a few bucks tell me dont start no chit and meet at the car after the game. The scrums in the end zones after extra points when the ball would come threw the stands and we would fight for it under the bleachers. The forever drive back on the Ohio turnpike and always a stop in Akron because my Dad said it was the rubber capital of the world and would buy me my school nike for the year.....I know Like me you were not telling him chit. Football already such a trip i always just thought the old man liked football so thats why he always had those stacks of parlay cards around. Stop in Toledo to see the lunatic side of my family who cheers for their states home team usually catch a Mudhens game at the old Lucas county Fair Grounds and could walk back to my Aunts house. So many life times and missed Pk 4's ago it seems.

Tough cards yesterday and rough picks ...Try and do better at Toga today but still do not enjoy Del Mar like i do NY and i used to be complete opposite.

Excellent points about Del Mar grenzen...I was decent about throwing starters towards the end of SA meet because the form showed they point to a Del Mar summer but as you say unless i have my ear to the ground there i am playing from behind.

Now that is how i like to redeem myself at Toga...Had a good day capping and wagering and nice when the two meet.
