Scout out the track a day before hand and get yourself familiar with the safest route back to your car with stacks and stacks of cash from crushing it both days. See it to achieve it

Also if your near the test barn i lost my bowl over by a pile of hay it says not a big deal on the side of it if you come across it

Why even publish that story on Bloodhorse? I also do not think i have read an article more fact less and ignorant of any substance maybe ever...and thats coming from my dumb cant spell azz

I enjoyed all of the following as a tourist, but you have to wonder what crowds will be like on that Thursday?

Old Friends

Kentucky Horse Park

Woodford Reserve

First wednesday go to the jack daniels distillery in Tennessee and pick up a bottle of frank sinatra. Then get back to keenland check the track and come here and give us a update. Next drink some of that bottle in shot form if possible ( also no ice cubes please shape your ice in a ball shape like ol blue eyes lol). Next find yourself some kentucky green grass to balance out. Finally have a great time dont leave any vouchers in the machine and find one race you will bet heavier than the others. Bet it with your heart watch it. When that race is over weather u win or lose, take 2more shots from that bottle. Proceed to rest of the weekend and enjoy it all.

See how the hell do you spell Wednesday and Tennessee correct but F up weather? B3 wanted me to ask J/K man nice to see you SGV.

Looks like Beholder is good to go for the BCC and waiting on another work next week before i give my choice.

Also Gary Young said AP worked like a beast and looked very fit as always also but Gary is just a clocker at SA and track rat so take it with a grain of salt i am sure

Big Puddin itt hey hey man

Been watching lots of videos in preparation of the BC day 1. Really liking Yahilwa in the Distaff. Apparently she turned in another great work this morning. I think this will be a great betting race, as I don't think any of the top three are a slam dunk. Untappable seems to be moving in the right direction. I will be looking at the work of Stopchargingmaria tomorrow. She should be a big price, and runs big off a layoff.

Wow, just wow, the BC Classic is going to be one hell of a horse race.

Outside of the obvious favorites AP and Beholder, I will for sure be putting Tonalist and Keen Ice in my Exactas. I really think what Keen Ice accomplished in the Travers was very special and he looks to be peeking at the right time. I liked him at 12-1 and still like him at 10-1 when his odds dropped on Tuesday.

I'm also watching out for other odds changes here on whole card.

from the looks of the odds checker website, its seems the bet would have to be beholder at 7/2 4 to win which we wont see next Saturday and then frosted to place at his 14/1. I guess this means that everyone thinks frosted has no chance and used up all energy last time out. well to that I say, as the pros say lol " put a line through his last". bottom line is that the horse runs best from mid pack. his best jock connection will be back on "rosario" . at least frosted has traveled and showed up in all races. tonalist still has the only at Belmont label. if this is true than the same kinda goes for beholder since yeah she was second after a meltdown but her connections choose not to ship her again. I don't use any of those sites but at 14/1 my bet would be 100 place 200 show on frosted and rasario

Been doing about the same thing aph and i am sure like yourself anxious as hell to get after it already...the hurry up and wait always drives me crazy (er)

SGV always a good sport and realized i make fun of myself for the same things and like some of what you and aph both are saying. I am just waiting on a few works period before i get into the numbers and angles. Thought your shout on Flo Geaux was solid and have watched him since GP last yr myself and reminds me of an east coast Prat who i hope is on the mend.

Looking at weather.com and it has the 10 day as Friday 55 degrees and 10% chance of rain, and Saturday 59 degrees and 20% chance of rain. This imo could be much different because this time of year and mid west area you can get sunburn and frost bit all in the same day.

Yup honcho i also took a liking to flavin and was sad at his injury as i am sure tom proctor was as well since hes the one who brought him up and used him when stevens isnt the right fit for his horses. Same as grahm motion. Geroux has been a turf beast and i was proud he got the invite to woodbine last week and rode that 30/1 for Drysdale best he could. He will have at least 4 mounts this year but will be better bet after he put on a show at kentucky downs and is better know now. The new jock ive been following is this kid from france whos on a tear world wide. Andrea antzenti. Dont know if hes coming in but hes gettin up there with ryan moore, maxine guliyon and others. Watch out for what andre fabre brings in this year

Any mount by Geroux I am elevating. Especially turf. Interesting stat presented by Mike Hogan: Kiran pretty hot at this Keenland meet right? He has no graded stakes wins at Keenland in the last 5 years.

I agree with Geroux factor right now. With the other nug on Kiran that stat may be a little misleading with Keeneland having been synth prior to this last yr and not knowing off hand if he has avoided Keeneland because of this but i will put that in the memory going into capping no doubt.

great point Honcho. What do you make of the Keenland Turf? I hear much talk of it being a "sand based-yielding" type turf. Perhaps this favors the European shippers? Then again I was always under the impression they shipped horses seeking firmer ground.

Well i believe they are off the turf today and i am going to anticipate tomorrow as well with the weather report i am looking at so we will not have any more examples to go off of till BC time. By my ear so far i have only heard that either horses have taken to the turf course or just do not care for it not really anything in between, but that is just limited info picked up on ATR through the week with the head Keeneland guy think last name is Mcgee or McKay on Thu or Fri show if you want to check archives for it on their site. By eye and my capping it has appeared speed has held so far this meet which is limited. I know the turf track will get moisture all week from weather reports and dry out night prior to BC Friday so i am just guessing on a yielding course of ground but will rely a lot on what i hear from the people i need to hear it from during the week on ATR which will be on track. From my exp capping sand based they seem to dry much quicker but can be more loose than some horses prefer.

Anyone playing with this free Keenland database? I am having trouble finding stats outside of this current Fall meet. Definitely checking out ATR. It was pointed out that outside posts have been pretty dismal in routes.

I have not myself, but i use Brisnet and TS for my capping and replays and in the PP's there is info each race as to post and win %'s with each.

Recall a convo i heard on ATR one day last yr right before or after new yr with Rick Hammerle and he was discussing a G.Motion horse that Graham was in the 10 hole and thought he might be "stuck" on the 1 1/16th grass course with the quick left turn but Rick told Motion it would not be an issue with that horses running style etc and convinced Motion to keep in the race and because of this convo i hit a nice PK3 by including his horse which i would of normally tossed because of post. I always look forward to the Hammer on ATR he is a sharp guy and i respect his opinions a lot.

Also before i forget i would like to wish ATS the best of luck in his BCBC quest for glory. I know i will be watching the leader board and hope i get a cramp in my neck looking all the way to the top for ya at the end. Take it down ATS!

I will use todays race as my first bit of handicapping for the breeders cup filly sprint. La verdad made easy work of the compatition today but she was afraid to go the extra furlong and getting caught by whom? Yeah there will be other front running speed but shes a beast her connections didnt want to get caught by whom???
