We'll see.

$30 to win on Wicked Strong, using this more as a saver, I would hate my life if he won and I didn't have a dime on him.

In exotics, primarily putting Samraat on top, and playing smaller with Wicked Strong.

I really like the chances of Ride on Curlin and Commanding Curve to run well. Prices on both are nice, and if they hit the board underneath I've got some signing to do weee.

6-20
6-20-19-17-3-5-6
6-20-19-17-3-5-6-8-12-1

Various combinations using these animals, but my strongest tri ticket will be 6 / 20-17-19-5 / 20-17-19-5-3. Will probly play that ticket for $2-3.

Good luck.
Sooo huge noob horse racing question I'm planning on placing bets I've been reading yo y'all's post and and taking notes and using my understanding off odds.. But can some one explain to me the number combos you post? Shown above..

Thanks

Any way to see current odds for place and show prices? Seems like it should be obvious, but I've been searching for 40 minutes with no luck.

Acesover8's- you can always do the calculations urself by looking at the place/show pools. Dont forget to factor in 16% for the takeout

Edit.. Churchill raised there takeout to state max 17.5%. Forgot about that

Ye, hes saying in the win slot he has 16,20, then in 2nd hes got the second set of #'s & in 3rd place, hes got the 3rd set of #'s. thats a trifecta bet where u need 1st 2nd & 3rd in correct order in order for ur bet to win.

Guess Mr Lopestri really knows his horse, cos he was on the losing side for 2 strides when rosario snuck up inside of him & it was like WD locked eyes with him & measured him up quickly & like a "ricky henderson explosion step" WD leaped back in front by a good 6inches, (taking all chances out of a losing head bob) just a stride or 2 before the wire. As if he was toying..... Jus wonder when somebodys gonna eventually time it rite & sneak up on him rite at the wire.. Like what "Touch Gold" did in the belmont when i was a kid. Il never forget that day... I was a lost teenager that evening. Bcos of that, i hated any guy with blonde curly hair for a few years until i matured. Jus thinkin that somebody is gonna time it rite eventually. Wasnt today, thats for sure..

I watching the race cheering the 7 horse into the money so I could hit a trifecta - never considered WD losing the race! I am embarrassingly heavy into CC now in the pick-5 and pick-3. Can't bear to watch how he will behave in the ring...

I know we all feel collectively cursed at one point or another in this thread, so here's my story.

I was offered finish line seats to the Belmont this year. I'm working overseas, so I had to decline. I said "Inevitably, this will be the year someone wins the triple crown."

Ladies and Gentlemen: California Chrome is for real.

That was simply special.... Im a lifer in this game & never have i seen a horse toy with his opposition (getting blind switched repeatedly early on) like CC jus did. I hope everybody that cares a lil about racing understands how lucky we are to b witnessing this.... That was awesome to watch that pan shot 3/4's of the way thru the far turn when the 2 horses inside of him & the horse on his outside were riding for there lives bouncing up & down, cracking there whips, throwin crosses & Victors jus still as a statue in the stirrups!!! Absolutely breathtaking.

It was beautiful. I really felt that I would have a good or bad feeling within the first 5 seconds of the race. Once I saw California chrome placed exactly where I envisioned his winning race, I felt pretty good! What a beautiful ride and beautiful horse! That was one of the best event I have ever witnessed.

I had the 50 cent trifecta. Needed WS or Danza to place on my superfecta. It was just a wonderful race.

Made a huge mistake hedging some bets late because I was heavily weighted toward CC winning. Ended up winning 2 small pick 3's, and a solid daily double with CC+wise dan. It was nice bc my tickets were cheap bc I mainly only had wise dan and CC as they looked like big favorites to me.

Finally, I was kinda shocked how close the wise dan race was. Looks like he is on his way out kinda.
