Kenny Mayne seems to be alive in this right now for a big payout, which shows you just how unusual that is....

Nice pick on the Bird, Najdorf. I let my bias cloud my picks here and I just don't like this horse. I may have to reconsider. Good work by you, best of luck.peace

Got completely hammered on Saratoga yesterday. Didn't hit a single race there and of course my pick 4 got blown out in the first race. My old man talked me off Quality Road and onto Kensei for value, but I was saying all along "Summer Bird is dangerous". Do I listen to myself? Of course not. Load up on Kensei, swing and a miss.

Hit a few at Monmouth and Del Mar. The old man hit the DD on the first two races at Del Mar which was impressive. Fun day as always, but walked out stuck about $50 (thanks Saratoga).

Del Mar 8/30/09

1.) 3-2-7
2.) 7-1-6
3.) 8-5-2
4.) 5-2-3
5.) 7-9-2
6.) 8-5-9
7.) 4-9-7
8.) 9-10-8
9.) 10-12-2
10.) 1-9-12

I think there is a ton of value on the backside of the card today, select pk3's and rolling DD's are what im playing, try to get late pk4 ticket in before the 7th.

This is going to be my last posted picks,i hope i have helped someone make a few dollars. I shared my unique situation on becoming a horse player, and have proven myself i believe. I feel its time i go in a new direction. Good Luck All.

why kensei the jim dandy is a dead race not one horse will run well out of it. It is a bad race. Secondly Munnings was not working out well. Not sure your friend is getting good info. Know a couple of the clockers and said that Munnings did not work out well.

Jus wanna intoduce myself to the horse racing forumn, ive been a horse player since i was 15 sneaking into the NYC-OTB to bet yonkers lol. I was pretty hardcore at it till i was bout 24, i stopped playing for 3-4 years, and i just recently got back into it, but now instead of betting every race i bet very selectively. I look foward to sharing info with all u guys at the seemingly imposisble task of beating the racing game :-)

Welcome aboard. I'm definitely more of a fan than any kind of successful horseplayer. If you see me starting to post advice on here, you should ignore it. However, a bunch of people ITT know what they are talking about.

Last weekend for Ellis Park...Ive talked to a few trainer buddies and it looks like some big # double digit winners will be running hardcore this weekend...the exact quote I got from a guy I know is INSIDE said "bet the bombs this weekend" With last weekend possibly ever I think we will see a lot of old timers (jon court) and some of the older regular jocks cashing in on long shots.

This is going to be without a doubt a HUGEEE racing weekend--

Tommorow in the Woodward RA looks to make history and while i think she is a monster, at 1/2 i think she is worth trying to beat doing something she has never done, running against older male horses. There are several who have a chance to beat her, macho again loves saratoga and has value at 8-1, astiac boy is a good play at 10-1, its a bird rates a look, however im looking for Nick Zito to pull off the upset with his entry of Da Tara and Cool Coal Man
If RA does win i think the value here is tryin to beat Bullsbay out of the exatca, currently the 2nd choice at 6-1 and he just went off 17-1 vs Macho again and astiac boy.

Sunday at Delmar is the Pacific Classic with a star-studded field. The three faves will be Colonel John, Einsetien, and the probable fave off of his last monstorus race the improving Rail Trip . Im very against Einstien in this spot. I like Colonel John, and think Rail trip is pretty darn good but he really did get a perfect set up in his last race as he stalked the suicidal pace of Tres Borraches and simply took over turning for home. I do not think there will be any value with him this race, as opposed to last race him going off i believe 8/1. Theres alot of horses in this race with upset potential. Informed, Mast track, song of navoronne all have the ability to run a big race, but a horse i really like here is Parading. He went off 8/5 in the previous discussed Rail Trip race and now his morning line is 10/1. He was supposed to be the next great synthetic superstar prior to that race, and i still think its too early to throw in the towel off one bad race, especially at the generous odds.

Just started reading the racing form will update with anymore info--

Hello all, just wanted to say my tips on Ellis were spot on some great Tri's today I hammered Race 2 and hit the $2.00 tri for over 3k today! The track should remain the same tomorrow with some more bombs will be interesting as its pouring here (flood advisorys even) and will be raining tomorrow as well. The Rachel race was pretty standard..I missed the exacta had less than40 bet on it and had a $20 exacta straight 34 so picked up a little cash on that one. Good luck all.

The RA race was really exciting. Macho Again almost nipped her...

Tom Durkin was unbelievable with the call. There's no one better.

The Pacific looks so tough, but I can't help throwing in tres borrachos hes always like 10-1+ in every race.

That was a disgraceful ride on RA by Calvin.

He hit her 17 times in the final furlong. Pathetic.

I couldn't agree more. I bet Calvin went to her stable this morning and smacked her some more just to make sure. What a douche.

let's not forget that it's a horse, not a small child...

using the whip like that seemed to have worked. can't blame Borel for anything.

Terrible weekend- had a win bet on Macho Again ( thought RA was worth taking a shot against at such a short price) and felt very confident in the stretch that Macho would run past her, RA simply was too good and props to her, one of the times you dont mind losing is when you get to witness something special like that kind of performance--

In the joke of race called the Pacific Classic, i had done very well earlier in the Delmar card and was alive in the pick 3 going into the classic, had Railtrip, informed, colonel john, and parading, had $5 pick 3's with rail trip and colonel john and $2 with the other 2, was looking to make a very nice score, rail trip and colonel john would of paid around 200 i believe and the other two were almost 1k each, i really loved parading in this race, i thought she was a good synthetic track horse and her last race was a fluke

Can someone explain to me how that Baffert horse can win that race, im too sick to my stomach to even think of his name. You could look in the racing form for 2 years and still not come up with an angle for that horse to win. He was running opt/clm at Laurel this time last year. At the top of the stretch parading had dead aim on the leader but had nothing left in the tank, ship him to the glue factory

Hey guys,

Im at ellis on my wifi laptop. The track is sloppy as hell worst ive seen at Ellis every. I have some snacks for you today including one youll be offering to give me a reach around in the 10th. Here we go my caps for today:

Race 3: 6 Horse AP Jewel is only play here (load up if possible on win monies)

Race 4: $5 dollar EX Wheel 14 with 143

Race 5: Watch for the 5 to hit the board here...im going with easy pickens on this one of $5 dollar ex box 579

Race 6: $5 EX Box 10 13 14

Race 7: $20 Win on 8 *got inside info on this one as to loving the slop and will hold for close on pace setters.

Race 8: Throw out the entries 1 and 1A its wide open here but I do like the 11 to run 1 or 2 here.

Race 9: $10 EX 1 4 (i like the 1A here to win outright by a length or more)

Im not capping race 11 so here is my gift: I spent some time talking with the trainers this morning and its being suggested with all the scratches that everyone is going to load up at last minute or so on #4 Mr. Unbelievable...This is INSIDE info and as we know that may not happen but I "hear" the line will be opened for him to close and make everyone some money with help from his friends if you know what I mean...take it for what its worth.

Capper Ken

I agree, however there is a point where the whipping of a horse (or a small child) becomes abuse. Judge for yourself if Calvin went over than line. I believe he did.
