LOL, Finally hit a pk 4 @ DelMar, me and about 25,000 other people. Paid $58.00, wtf! only invested $8 on the ticket so it was a profit.LOL.

IMO, if either of the connections back out of the proposed race in NY, that horse should not able to win HOY. The race is perfectly spotted 5 weeks before the BC so Zenyatta can still run there and no synthetics for Jackson to whine about. There are no excuses not to run. Kudos for NYRA for trying to give the fans what they want. If the owners are afraid to sack up ,then fine but you can't dodge this race and still win HOY.

Thanks Ryan,7 for 8 today, only went against BBLB in the 2nd because he is a 7F specialist, didnt think he would win a 6F.

I agree with you on NYRA doing a good job and trying to get this done, but completely disagree with your opinion RA has to run,and or beat Zenyatta for HOY.

RA won a big 3 (Preakness),doing so beat MTB the Kentucky Derby champ. RA also won the Haskell in record fashion, smacking down the Belmont winner Summer Bird. So why does RA have to beat Zenyatta? Hell thats a HOY resume for RA right there IMO. She has beaten every 3 year old thrown at her,and doesnt have to win or race again this year to win HOY IMO.

Quality Road could win the BC classic by 20,and still not get HOY,he missed the big 3 because of injury.

And i am a huuuuge Zenyatta fan,but she cannot beat RA period! If you remember the Haskell,RA couldnt get the lead as her normal style, she was smart enough to understand that, stalk the leaders, then pounce and destroy, and destroy she did. She showed he smarts in that race especially.

The race would go like this,RA would have a 20 length lead into the far turn, and when Zenyatta made her move (shes only a one run horse) she would fall short by 5 still.

I understand lots of people would love to see this race,(im not one of them) but i dont think RA has to prove a thing to me anymore this year.

I am not about to get into this debate again, it's just maddening. As I understand it . this is not a match race. Of course RA would win and match race and because of there running styles it wouldn't prove a thing. I am a fan of horse racing and in this era of ship all the good horses off to the breeding shed for risk of injury or God forbid they lose and there value goes down, we are left to just speculate what would happen if... We now have a chance to see it on the track and it is incumbent upon these owners to make it happen. The only reason it won' happen is if one of them back out and I don't think they should. We could sit here and poke holes in both these horses resume and it doesn't mean a dam. Let's see them run on the track.

Just a little story...

Played golf at Willow Metropark on Wednesday morning. The course happens to be only a couple miles from Pinnacle Race Course(near Detroit Metro Airport). When my buddy asked if I had time for lunch I replied "follow me."

So we sit for lunch and a little simulcast action. A quick run of my trip handicapping system reveals an "auto play" in race 3 at Monticello. The only problem is the horse has been laid off for a bit after being involved in an accident in his last race. Keep in mind this is a small time NW race.

The horse is still 5/2 on the morning line but gets off at 4:1 with my $10WP and trifecta and superfecta wagers. He gets a seat in third, quarter moves to the top and looks unbeatable. The favorite is far back and disinterested in moving into a slow pace. I am golden.

Then the mediocre driver ducks the left wheels inside two pylons in the final turn and goes on to win. My buddy is excited. I am ****ting a brick. So I head to the head and while washing my face look into the mirror and pledge to never bet a simulcast race ever again if they take this horse down.

On my way back to the table I look up and see that they left it up. Likely there wasn't even an inquiry. ****. I almost found a way out. Nice little score anyway and my buddy was impressed - which means more than money now doesn't it.

Then my wife called. Degen.

I agree, but it really doesn't matter. RA's connections would definitely participate in this, but Zenyatta's are unlikely to, despite the quote from Shirrefs.

Total Profit on the day $1298.20,subtract my -144 from Friday and im up $1100.00 for the weekend, taking tomorrow off.

VN, I just looked at some angles for today and here are some things that caught my eye:

R8 at delmar - bel air sizzle 12-1 ML. I replayed her last 4 races and everytime she closed it seemed like the front pack just always managed to be that much faster. I don't think she's out of form at all and the fact that she ran last week is irrelevant since they've done this with her before and she still hits the board/wins.

R7 at calder - medaglia d'onore 5/2 ML. A very solid medaglia d'oro horse that should clean up here.

R4 at saratoga - EA 2/1 ML. Qualifies for this AoC race due to the restrictions which is great for him. 2nd in 500k ctown 1 1/8, dead heated 2nd in pimlico 100k 1 1/6, and this is just a 60k aoc 1 1/8.
