I just really love how Hymm Book runs off a 8-10 week lay off. Shug has been pointing to this race since early spring. He hasnt missed a beat in the morning & hes never finished out of the exacta @ Belmont & all those races were stakes races. Primed for a big run today IMHO

Race7- Going to go deep here and hope to get lucky with a price, using #1 sweet baguette,#2 Running isabella, #6 Jewel seeker ( like this one at a price, first time starter for Morey who clicks at 34% first time starters, is only carrying 110lbs, and he see's fit to ship to Hollywood rather than run at GG, also using #8 Unusual Hottie,

Race 8- Really dont know what to make of the fave Tize a brite miss, he should be the main speed from the outside post,but hes 0-6 and has burned alot of $ in the past. Going to reluctnaly throw him in. Also using # 6 Color girl, bejerano doug oneill first X starter,#9 Salon Blondie, and the outside horse #12 Rock U up, who has a chance with chantal up.

1) All just hoping to catch a price
2) 7 just think that if he gets the lead, and has any ability, its over
3) 3-5 expecting the 3, but hoping the 5 gets there
4) 1-2-6-9-10-11 included anything that had any whiff of talent
5) 4 this is a fast group, but Master Chef is in good form, he should put them away

EDIT: this 1st race went off while I was writing this all up, so whatever. Caught the 4 in race one at $9 third choice I think. Good result though as beat the 2 ML chalks.

6) 4-7 I really like the 7 on drop +jockey change alone, but the 4 is on the improve and also picks up gomez. Probly watch the 8 beat me.
7) 2-3-8 pretty chalky i know
8) 1-11-6 I like the 1, think she is on the improve, has had trouble in all three of her races. If she gets there at 6-1, this ticket should pay nicely

Ya, that's why they race them, we all have opinions right lol. I don't think Master Chef has to run a 100 to win here though. As far as bounce, he's had a month to recover from his effort. Sure, that is his career peak beyerwise, but his form was improving steadily up to that effort. He looks to be in great form.

He is no lock, but I think he as 50% of the race to himself. He is the fastest starter of the group, there are only 4 opponents so I think the likelihood of someone going head and head with him is lower, and I feel like if he gets an easy lead its another wire job.

Who do you like though?

I like the 1 and 3, the 1 is 2nd off a long layoff, the 4 could easily win but I think hes gonna get hammered at the windows off running that huge beyer and theres gonna be no value, but Im dead in my early pick 4, ( i needed the10 or 11 this past race), so I'll be rooting for you :-)

Ya just held on. He did show some gameness there in the stretch tho - battled back when he was challenged. I just backed the wrong miller horse in race 2 fml.

Well, we got it, but was a pretty powdery sequence. $35 for pick4 is whatev. Only had a $9 ticket twice, so I guess $70 for $18 is ok. Did make some money on the night with doubles and a couple pick3s that I played though so thats ok.

Today's card looks to be a competitive one,and should yield some fair prices in the exotics today imo w/DD's and exacta's. It was hard to sit and cap since the weather where i am at is so perfect,its been 90 almost everyday little rain,so sat out on the deck this am and just got it done. I dont recall ever having too successful of days on days like today's card offers,but lets give it hell anyways,good luck to all,and enjoy the day fellas.

Just got in about 20 min ago and saw i had a decent day,profit right about 200 for the day,and will probally invest that in the mand payout PK6 tomorrow. I will post my ticket before hand if i get the time,but there does not appear to be much interest in this thread anylonger.

I think I'm going to be involved in the Arlington pk5 carryover today. 15% takeout is nice and 50c play is nice for this bet, as well. Putting together my initial leans, i'll have to make a few stands in some races to slim my ticket down, as there really aren't any singles I can see. I'll have to just "flip a coin" in a few races and hope it comes right. want to keep my ticket below $100. anyone else going for it?

I'm still paying attention to this thread, I was going to play some yesterday but didn't get the time. I read that article on the 15percent take out, I didn't know that they could change it, I thought it was always 25.
