I think thats pretty liberal. I was thinking 12, maybe 12 1/2. However if the pool size were to reach 500k +, there will b some so cal pick6 studs playin some big tix, in which case i like ur 13 1/2 o/u. Im guestimating 50-100k pool size tops.

I would wager anything that nobody hits 18/18. That is totally insane bet and I think I'll throw a couple bucks on it for giggles and pray to hit and always brag I hit a Pick-18.

Wow I would of never thought it would cost that much. That's insane. It's not a must pay and carrys until someone hits? Well if thats the case you have to be on drugs to possibly play it...

Can u imagine the line at the teller window, when an 80 year old snow bird is tryin to call out his pick 18. I think gulfstream institutionalized the same rule for there rainbow 6 when betting on track they make u use a machine, except on mandatory payout day they will let u use a teller. Im not to keen on pick 18, however i am happy to see racing secretarys bolden up & experiment with new betting opportunitys, especially micro bets. Micros are obv the wave of our future. As they say in the form " Il b taking a wait & see approach" GL
Well I'm sure the casino will take this wager right?

Since it's a PICK 18. They should of really made it either a place Pick 18...or a $0.01 Pick 18. Then 3 in each leg would only cost me $3,900,000.

Under for $20 plz. I did think 13 before...but with more thought and seeing how much a ticket costs. You have to single like 12 races to be reasonable. I am calling 9/18!

Helping someone out is really gonna affect your price in the pools? why do u post any of your plays then?

Even in the TV show Luck...Marcus says "Why are you going to copy my bet you realize if you hit you'll affect my payout."

It means nothing. The pools are so huge these days and even at big tracks you really have no worrys.

If there was $1,000,000 in late pick 4 pool. And 1,000 people hit it for $1,000 each. If you gave your play to your friend and he hit it as well. For 1,001 people hitting it. That means your ticket will now pay $999. Exactly $1 less.

A smaller track ehhh possibly but still it really won't have any big difference.

Only on a Pick 6 and that's if they copy your exact ticket. And I doubt anyone taking someones free picks will be betting so huge to actually affect the win pool odds at any big track.

LOL...Cmon BK,you know i dont think that at all. I rarely post my plays, but often my top 3 i think have a chance to win each race like most on track cappers do. I thought it was pretty obv tongue in cheek, and the smiley face gave it away as well.

Going back to cash and will be playing...

SANTA ANITA:

$200DD
RACE 7: 2
RACE 8: 1

RACE 8: $700 WIN #1
^^^^^

LOVE HIM A LOT TO WIN THE NIGHTCAP. BUT WON'T BE TOO BIG ODDS.

I usually play prices. But SA and AQU chalk wins often.

People like to say "ohhh big deal 8/5 etc..." which I agree. I don't scream or root in those prices. But I just say..."Yeah 8/5 big deal huh? Okay well you give me an 8/5 that is a 100% lock and I'll fire away."

BEST OF LUCK ALL.

Taking a stab in SoCal today.

$20 double. Santa Anita race 7. 3 with 7.

SA7 #3 is Chosen Miracle at 7-2, who imo has a distinct pace advantage as the lone frontrunner. If anyone goes with him early they forfeit their own chances late. Therefore, he appears likely to get an uncontested lead. Improving 4yo, 3rd off the lay. I tend to dislike Talamo, but when he wins races they're most often on the engine.

SA8 #7 is Mary Contrary at 5-1, for Harris Harms off a nearly 5 month layoff, 2 to 3. Almost ran to par on debut in October(87 where par today is 88). Served notice on march 9 with a sizzling drill, followed by two junk works coming in. Has been on the tab 11 times, once a week since January 13. Ready.

Conditionally betting, demanding a $50 probable.

Godspeed and good racing luck to all.

In the world cup undercard race 8 there appear to be two who look faster than the rest and one upside hoss who could be any kind. The 8 and 9 are the top two on the line at 3 and 2 to 1. The 3 Beaten Up is 20-1 and is throwing figs that make him a contender to these eyes. Gonna do a $10 exacta box hoping he fires. 3 with 8,9.
