Impressive performances by both Eden's Moon and Reneegotzip, thought they were going too fast, but the others simply were not of the same quality on this day to make any sort of in road in the stretch.

Well had a killer night partying yesterday.

Thankfully I missed the Pick 6 wouldn't have hit. Nice carryover for tomorrow $400k+...should easily reach $2,000,000. Did like the first leg though of the #8...sire of Bernardini same baby for Zenyatta and Rachel. Had a nice workout last out.

Great race by Eden's Moon and Reneesgotzip. I did like Reneesgotzip better than Eden's Moon as did most public. Cannot mess with Bob Baffert simple as that. It's amazing how literally EVERYONE of his horses are top horses. You turn the page and look everyone of his horses has $300K+ in earnings.

Great race by Hansen. Nice run by Caleb's Posse. Had it between them two. Didn't like the GP shipper who beat 5 horse fields.

The 3 reminded me of the BC Classic 2011 Drosselmeyer...one of the only horses that had a win at the distance let alone run it. Game on Dude and Drosselmeyer were the only two I believe and they ran 1-2. In the night cap big cap...I didn't like the 3 but he figured. Was rooting for UE.

JO i figured you were partying hard, had visions of you going at it like NPH in that White Castle movie.

RTG looked great and took it to a damn good field imo. I follow the warmups very closely for things that i use as keys, especially on days im just poaching, and at least 7 horses looked the part imo.

Pool 2 closes this evening also on the KYD and KYOAKS. I am out of the TS contest losing at Turfway yesterday, and for maybe the 5th time forgot to make an opening day selection in the showvivor contest

Capping the carry at SA,sure to donate today

quick whacky anecdote: the first at GGF today looks to be an absolutely horrible race (8k MC). (cover your eyes and protect the women and children.) but, the #4 horse is making her 59th start. yes 59th, with no wins. but, if there ever was a race she could win this is it. lets get it done, Rising Above, I'm pulling for you!

haha.

good luck everyone today!

Freakin 6 got nosed after he tried to railroad the field out of the gate.

2 at Gulf got screwed. Horse pulled up in front of her then tried to make a go down the stretch and hit traffic.

Bombs away at Aqueduct, but no love for Professor Chaos.

EMD is going to have some well bred two year olds on the track this year, thanks to Jerry Paxton's Northwest Farms LLC...

StopShoppingDebbie a filly (by Curlin) out of Taste the Passion (by Wild Again)

Taste the Passion was a proven runner for Northwest Farms LLC earning 142,210$ from 16 starts between 99-01, racing in stakes company completely, she finished her career with a 6th place finish in the Arlington Matron G3. But she has proven even mroe successful as a broodmare for the farm.......

two of her successful daughters also have two year olds this year......

Blueberry Smoothie a filly (by Giants Causeway) out of Shamppo (by Gulch)

Shampoo was a successful stakes horse at EMD compiling a 7-3-2 record from 15 starts and earnings of 213,075. This is her first foal, but if she is anything like her mom.....could be serious potential.

FinallygotaBentley a colt (by Bernardini) out of Smarty Deb (by Smart Strike)

Smarty Deb was a dominant two year old filly at the track, winning 4 of 4 in her two year old campaign....So dominant in fact that she was entered in the Breeders Cup Juvenile Fillies . The betters agreed, making her the third choice in the field of 13. The track that day at Monmouth was an off track, and she came out of the race with a career ending injury, but despite all that she still ran 5th. This is her first foal.

I heard they have another two year old filly coming in I believe out of Elusive Quality....but I can't find any more additional information about it yet.

The farm also has a talented 3 year old filly returning.

Exclusive Diva by Bernardini out of the graded stakes winning Dehere mare Puxa Saco is back and looking forward to the longer distances that the 3 year old season brings, she was lightly raced at two racing 3 times for a 2-0-1 record and 43k earned. While you can't pencil her in as the early favorite for top 3 year old honors......She definately has to be expected to move forward given the pedigree.

Obviously racing in the Northwest we don't see that many big name sires, or if we do its failed offspring who have now floated around the smaller tracks of North America and are coming in at 6-8 years old to pick up some claiming checks. To see young talented horses out of top national sires at the track is really refreshing and a site to behold. I commend Jerry Paxton and Northwest Farms for their efforts, and the fact that they do race horses locally.

So upset I literally threw the 7 out at the last second when I seen Baffert down to 6/5 was getting a ton of late action. Was the best horse in the race got killed at the start. I still made a profit but damn would of hit back to back Pick 6's.
