Hard not too like that horse. I made such a poor mistake in going the exact opposite way for that race. I put too much stock in 1 1/8 mile being somewhat of a distance limitation for stormy. His tru knack is 1 mile. His given the lead up numerous times when going distances further than 1 mile. However with the gulf turf being somewhat soft & stormy relishing soft going, i should have vetoed my opinion on his distance limitations. Tom bush coddles this horse sumthin awful. Its his bread & butter & u can mark my word, if hes sound this spring we will see him at the keenland spring meet. Tommy does an excellent job of spotting his horses. Hes not jus gonna b firin bullets for the hell of it. He will occasionally use a race for a stepping stone, but more often than not, hes got his peices ready when they reach the gate. Kudos to tommy for keepin this horse n training. We need more old school trainers like him.

I am 95% tbred, but ive owned A few pacers & have remained in contact with my trainer & driver since getting out & every once in a while, my trainer calls me & tells me to play a ticket. He txt me yesterday while i was at workto play this ticket. Luckily my boss let me take an early lunch & i ran down to the otb & played it. Meadows is tuff to beat.....takeout like 35 percent on tris and no money in pick 3s....racing is straight up for the most part...

Wednesdays and Saturdays are the money days so i'd stick to them.

got a bud who's in vegas conventioning as i type this. taking two. 10 on thunder mocasin at 200-1 and 10 on russian greek at 300-1. those are the lines, but i see russian greek has been bet down to 60-1. hell, 60-1 is the odds that nay given horse will get in the gate! r.g. goes in the el camino real derby at ggf this saturday.

mehh im such a fish...went to the track for the first time over the weekend and fell in love with it...i just discovered today that my sportsbetting sight has ponies on it...just for lulz i did a 2 dollar wps on a 12-1 horse at delta downs, by time the race went off it was 25-1....obv the horse won but i just went back and checked and my book hasnt updated it and when i went to my open bets it shows my wager and under risk/win it has 6/0....so does this mean i got freerolled by my bookie...i dont understand this...also if bet is good im assuming i get it at the 12-1 i booked at n not the 25-1 it closed at right?

ahh confrimed huge fish itt...found out that the reason it said risking 6 to win 0 is because they needed to wait and see the closing odds and i did indead get it at 25-1...now that i know i can bet horses from bed i might b in trouble..but its soooo fun....sorry to tard up your thread...i look forward to learning from you guys
