Looked like the horse rolled over him, hopefully not fatal.

any adw will have those figs live, however if you're conducting retrospective analysis for research, i know of none. drf.com has pool totals, but not broken down by interests. the way to accumulate the data you seek is to copy n save it once the word "off" is posted, but before the word "official" or "over" is up. their software switches to the next heat immediately after that.

thanks, how cliche.

i was hoping equibase or something might have this. the problem is i watch the race live and then after its over i usually run around the house fist pumping or cursing my balls off. by the time i get back to the laptop wagering for the next race has begun.

Quite possibly the best handicapping software/product/service out there.

I've attended some of the webinars but, haven't sprung for the full service yet.

I just may in 2012.

The guy who runs it is aces, imo.

wow, thanks kev.

had a quick look - information/product overload; not sure i know where to start! guy def looks to be top notch. will look through it more when i have some time.

the full service you mention: is that the 'HorseStreet Handicapper' for $597 - it doesn't give much detail about what you get - any idea? The Percentages & Probabilities looks like it might be a cool/helpful product.

Anyone have experiences with any of these products?

Through 5 races at Delta tonight, all 5 have been won by a horse that won it's previous race. interesting trend, no?

I wanna hear your worst beat story. Here's mine. Copied from upinclass.com.

(Format three 1 day tourneys at GGF. Mythical $20 win bets on 6 mandatory races per day to get an NHC seat + travel & hotel. 2100 players a day. 2nd gets nothing.)

Race 5 #10 Scrimdetermination 20-1(winner 97.60)

A TIE & A SHAKE @ Golden Gate

Just got off the phone with Dan @ Golden Gate Fields...
it came down to a shake between our Unusual Pete and Terry Toczynski.
Both players were tied with $1266.00 - the shake went the other way.

Pete asked me to call if I heard anything, so I did.
He's pretty darn disappointed right now...
HANG IN THERE BUDDY.
YOU PLAYED LIKE THE CHAMPION YOU ARE, MY FRIEND!!!

That would probably be a pretty clear statement of our software. Of course, it also describes the "horse racing problem" in general.

BTW, let me say that I am a member at several forums and I make it a point to not play the "buy-my-stuff" game. The following comment is in response to the above, and, if I continue here, I promise it will not be to play non-stop commercials. It is simply not how I do it.

Back on topic: I might make a suggestion - Keep watching our website because during the 1st quarter of 2012 we will be releasing a very simplified version of the output from the software.

That is, we are going to begin producing some amazing REPORTS that will just blow your mind in terms of quality (and cost). In other words, you will get 90% of the benefits of the software without actually having to run the software.

And it will be usable with an iPad or other browsing device!

Kev, thanks again for the kind words.

Dave Schwartz

FG early pk4:

R 2: 1,2,4,7,8
R 3: 7
R 4: 3,7,8
R 5: 6,7,13,14

$30.

I like the 3 in race 3, as well, but wanted to cut my ticket in half. I'll play a win bet on 3 to recover my original wager if I'm alive after race 2.

El Gran Bebe Is a horse that showed some promise at EMD early in the year, but he couldn't seem to find his niche.

They brought him down to Golden Gate, and he has been able to find his footing on Turf, his first race he got stuck with a rough trip and was unable to get to the lead in a starter allowance (where he needs to be) and was stuck wide on the turns before fading to 10th.......

Since then however, this horse has been on a roll, winning a 12.5k claimer (1m turf), winning a 25k claimer (1m turf), and winning an Allowance race (8.5f turf). This horse has really been able to stretch out and maintain comfort on the lead, and power through the stretch in all 3 races he went off at decent prices while stepping up in class.

In other news......Seattle Sniper a 3 year old colt that was claimed in EMD in August (prior to that he had raced in AOC's and stake races in the northwest hitting the board in 8/9 lifetime starts). So whats so interesting about a horse getting claimed? happens all the time! Well this horse was sent all the way to Louisiana! and Delta Downs, and it looks like they tried to sneak him in for a lower claiming price than what they claimed him for in August, well it didn't work he was claimed out of the race and immediately put up in Allowance competition where he finished a game 3rd.

I just can't fathom the amount of money invested in this horse (the claim, the travel expenses etc) Just to have him claimed first time out for LESS money, and to only pick up a 3rd place check in the process......yikes!

Gulfsteam - Race 8

#12 Dan and Sheila (4/1 ml)

First-time starter for Pletcher worked heads-up with then-unraced barnmate Discreet Dancer back on Nov. 9, and as you know, Discreet Dancer emerged from that drill to set a track record @ Gulfstream a couple of weeks ago. Obviously, that bodes extremely well for this one's chances. A little extra ground for this one today going one mile, but it's a one-turn mile so that definitely helps. Also, the long run into the turn helps to mitigate the extremely wide post-draw. This guy figures to have some speed, so he should be able to drop over into a good spot by the time they get to the turn. Expecting a good effort.

Sti1gar - i noticed both of those. With regards to El Gran Babe - the last couple times he was let loose to run on the lead with absolutely no pressure and that horse is going to ship those spots A LOT. Actually each race there was 1 or 2 other horses that could have challenged but didn't - just ceded the lead. He will often fold like a card house to even the slightest heat and has no chance from running off the pace. I don't know, weird stuff.

I've seen a few strange shipper moves recently, Seattle Sniper 1 of them. Maybe they figured they'd try to sneak him through and if he got claimed they get a check and lose him to someone who's not really competition. I don't know, still weird.

I think just that is happening Monday, a horse named Sweet Pleasure is running in a 2500 MC at Portland. She had been running in 8k MC at GGF, and hitting the board, although not winning. I think Hollendorfer is trying to sneak her through and get a pretty easy win or pick up a check, be done with her, and lose her to someone who isn't real competition for him. Stuff like that happens.

Hollendorfer's win percentage thus far this Season at PM is down, only winning at 38%, Last year it was 51% and the year before 48%......that said the season is still young.

Gotta figure Hollendorfer uses PM as a way to off load some unprofitable horses. Guy runs so many horses, has to cull the herd somehow. Of course he has been racing at PM for a long time.

Portland Meadows got its race date changes approved.....will run a Summer schedule this year DETAILS HERE Three northwest tracks operating at the same time (HST, EMD, PM).....with a dwindling horse population..........YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Sti1gar - This type of play for Hollendorfer is all reward basically no risk. I am interested to see what happens in the 5th at PM on Monday. I would assume Sweet Pleasure will get claimed. It should be a really easy win, at any rate.

what do you think about D Devil in the 4th at PM on the 26th? can the old timer even a run a mile, especially considering that this is his 5th race in 7wks? Horse has a lot of heart and is full of game, but this is pushing it, imo.
