Had been wondering all weekend how Tyler Baze was doing. On fridays track feed, (i forget the guy that does the pre race paddock review, i think its Jon sumthin) said Tyler was taking off his mounts due to illness.. Then i see saturday he was off all his mounts, so i started wondering "he mus be pretty sick to miss all the mounts he had", then sunday hes off all his mounts again... Then i came across this article...lol

I'll be at Delmar for the Saturday card, and Sundays Pacific Classic card as well. Should be pretty great. I would recommend you come out on one of those days as well.

Will anyone else be at the track this weekend?

Loser, it came 2-8-11-5, paid handsomely to, $1 tri paid $2100 & change. I really liked the #2 early on n capping it, but trainer being 0-17 off extended 61-180 day layoffs steered me away n the end, its a really poor stat, but in hindsight, im wondering how many times the trainer ran a maiden off this type of layoff, only cos maidens will improve with jus time, vs a claiming horse for example. Its something im gonna keep in mind if i ever encounter a situation similar to this 1 & its a maiden race.
Playn delmar today too

So guys, whats every1 opinion on what racings gonna b like this weekend on the East Coast (Saratoga, Monmouth) with Hurricane Irene expected to hit NY Saturday, and Id imagine the Ocean Port area is gonna have to evacuate today.. Im just curious as to whats gonna happen, so many big races are scheduled for saturday.. Seems like they would have to get the horses out of Monmouth, but saratoga will prolly b alrite for the horses to stay stabled there. Its not like a car race, when the track is dry and clear they go racing, the horse trainers have been gearing their horses up for this specific day to get there animal at peak performance and if its delayed a week or even a few days, it changes alot for them.. Ive seen nothing on DRF even indicating their worried about the hurricane effecting the races and horses, but id have to imagine we will hear sumthin by the end of the day.. I also wonder if any books are offering hurricane props
