going with Midships as the 2nd favorite currently, both Gio Ponti and Grand Couturier are great horses, I've been on GC before but coming off 3 str8 G1 wins and wiring the field in 2 of them 3-1 or better on Midships strikes me as a fine bet to win and ATB.

Debating Song of Navarone in the Gold Cup. 2bl-digit odds look good to me.

Todays pk6 and late pk4 should pay nice imo,wide open races in the 8th,9th,and 10th. I am not playing pk6 today,just to costly i believe today,so going to concentrate on other plays. I believe the 6-8th offer a fair payout for rolling doubles there,and a pk3 play. I will post my exact late pk4 ticket before race 8,waiting to see the late changes. I know i will be using a few more horses in the late pk4 also,have to today i believe to hit it. I just always give my 3 best to win when i cap above,but today have to spread some. Good Luck

-134 on the late pk4 and hit it,lol. Didnt work out the way i thought and still hit it,so dont feel to horrible,didnt trust the 8 enough to sinlge in the night cap.

Front end is very good at Monticello today. This bodes well for a horse I like in the 6th. It looks like a competitive race, but too many closers. The 4 - KRONOS HANOVER goes right to the front last time out at 0.20 on the dollar and could not hold. I am hoping for 2:1 today as there are a lot of good looking horses in this race, but as I said closers working against the bias.

In the exotics I like the 5 closing for a piece with Aldrich getting in the bike.

Race 5 will have a 1:2 or less in the 6 - MR ROCKFORD. I may go after a few cold pick-3s that pay in coins.

Sounds like chicken-scratch I know.

So the 5 is the only horse that leaves and they run 5-1 all the way around the track. Head scratcher. I give up.

Havent played in awhile.. ARLINGTON PARK pick six carryover of $155k for Friday's card, races 5-10.

Glad to see that Texas nailed Steve Asmussen. Looks like another 6 month vacation unless he finds a way to weasel out of it. How many chances does this guy get? Hey guys will be creating my own thread because I would love to hear everyone's opinion.

So when your horse is comming down the stretch what kind of chants/screaming do you use?

For example I have a list of my favorite sayings and everyone laughs their as* off. I been to alot of racetracks and some of these are my sayings and some I heard from people, I find them all great.

Usually won't use some of these if children or women are present.

1. Turn em loose!
2. Let him go!
3. Alright baby, let's go!
4. Get em going!
5. Don't die on me you fuc*ing whor*.
6. When they are turning for home, "Swing him to the outside."
7. What are you waiting for x-mas let's go.
8. Don't move with him yet Prado I'll tell you when to let him go...then usually when they hit the top of the stretch "alright Prado now turn em loose."
9. When my horse goes wide..."What are you taking him into the parking lot?" Or "Don't go into the grandstand yah idiot."
10. When two horses are battling head to head..."Look him in the eye Prado."
11. Don't let me down! One time for the good guys!
12. When two horses are battling head to head..."Hit him into the rail."
13. My horse is the lead and there is a white/gray horse comming usually "Look out! You got a white broad with dead aim on you."
14. Gonna need a missle to catch this horse.

Well I would LOVE to hear anyone favorite saying they like to use or tactic's they use to get there horse into the winner circle...or are you one of the million who are silent during the race.
