also, is a 1,2,3,5,7 boxed superfecta on race 4 a horrible idea?

Gonna sit this one out. My ticket ended up consisting of the top 4 selections in each leg except singling 2/1 fave in the 5th. Not really a recipe for p6 success.

Best individual performance by a horse regardless of age or sex imo this yr. Better than AK's in the KyDerby imo.

2 weeks back the HDG vs BL was as thrilling a race as there has been all yr imo as well.

And i go by my scientific method of a horse that makes me go " damnnnnn" ,and WM did that today for me,and not many have.

ya, she really leveled nicely there.. She looked like she didnt really enjoy the heat that much, but man o man she will relish louisville in the fall this year.. Hopefully she wont get mugged again.. Def best thing goin, and hopefully jimmy will keep her in the states and not go chasin euro glory, (u see what todd did to More Than Real, 1 trip to europe and "sometimes" there never the same again.. Did JT say where next?

Delmars race 4, IMO that was a tough horse to come up with..I would have played a few others in front of it if i had spread there.. Any1 have the #2??

WOWOWOW...what a day.

went TO del mar. free entry, half priced beer (well..only coors light...they sure sprung that one on me) and food w/ 2 buddies.

Missed the first and second races and got there just in time for race 3. Didn't hit a damn thing till the 6th race when I hit the trifecta for $18.80 and my $2w, $4p, $8s bet on #1 paid on the show.

in the 7th race I had 1,3,5 and 1,2,8 boxed for the trifecta and out of no where the 6 horse came and won as a 21:1 shot, killing my pick four in the process.

in the 8th race I was down $50 on the day and decided to take a shot. I boxed a superfecta w 1, 2, 6, 10 and I boxed the trifecta w the same.

i put $15 on the 1 horse to win and $5 on the 3 horse to win.

Well..the 3 came in paying 23:1 and put me up $25 on the day.

I bet it because when the tote first flashed I noticed that the 20-1 in the program was 11-1 after the early money. I figured something was going on in the stables...aparently something is right and that horse was beautiful. wire to wire

Anybody know anything about if/when NAKATANI is coming down to Del Mar this year? Is he just crushing up at Hollywood or moving to bigger/better pastures? I'm honestly slightly lost on my turf picks w/o him...

Hollywood is not currently running - don't start again until November I'm pretty sure.

Nakatani has been racing at Arlington in Chicago the summer, I think. Don't know if he'll be racing at Delmar this meet or not be back in SoCal until after Arlington is done.

oh. ok...damn. Good for him...but I wish he was here.

Jockey Corey Nakatani went from zero to 60 in about no time at all when he shifted his tack from Hollywood Park to Arlington on June 1, but, as had been planned all along, Nakatani’s stay in Chicago will be limited. Nakatani confirmed Saturday that he intends to leave for New York for the start of the Saratoga meeting in July. He said the agent Fred Aime will book his mounts at Saratoga~~~~DRF

Also. What's the best site (including any possible bonuses etc..) for me to bet the ponies from my house on the internet, It'd be great to be able to do smaller bets than I'm allowed at the track/sattelite betting places too.

Also..how do you guys like 3/4/9 tri box in the 7th race @ DM? I like the 9 as a long shot. talamo on a british horse on turf

I'd also like it if they had some cheaper handicapping tourneys as well.
