That's without question the most likely scenario.

If Naj wins money, I win money. We are basically on and against the exact same horses.

Got the pace I wanted. Oh well. Really wanted to like the winner, but no dirt races spooked me and while his last race was a massive race visually, it was into a crawl home, so was a little skeptical.

one of the best outcomes for the 2nd leg, $982.50. coming into the stretch thought shackleford was gonna go wire to wire

Liked the winner in his past races but refuse to bet on a horse with no dirt races to win in these massive fields. won a little bit on P/S on MMM and Nehro, losses overall obvs. Thot Nehro was gonna get there but no dice. Funny MMM always hits the board but can't win a big one.

fwiw.....

loved animal kingdom all week...love the sire and knew this guy was the most likely to go the distance. lack of dirt experience was an obvious concern, but everything i read all week indicated he was handling the track quite well. add in the trainer, jockey switch, battaglia pick, and the way he was moving in the parade...i have never been more confindent in a derby pick. i told every body who asked the last day and a half to drop some money on this guy.

my tickets...
$10 wps 16
$10 ex 16/19
$2 tri 1/8/16/19
1/8/16/19
1/7/8/13/16/19

pretty good day!

Just watched the race, nice run by Animal Kingdom. Thank God. The $20 Oaks/Derby Double I had was the only two winners I had for both days. It paid $345.60, so I got all my money back plus a little cheesecake for the effort. Overall a little disappointed in the way Soldat and Midnight Interlude ran but Alls well that ends well. I guess. Great two days of racing and I still have a little change in my pocket for The Preakness. peace.

Can the mods ban this ******* please. I hate nothing more than coming here after the race and posting your "picks" that just happened to be winners. Either post before the race or not at all. End of story.

If shackleford only could have hung in for 3rd.... Dissapointing weekend really, so many close 1's. Wish there was a way to post a photo of my pick 4 tix that started in the 10th. I played it like so 5,7,8 with 1,8,14,19 with 4,6,8,9 with 1. Paid 26k, if Nehro or Shackleford win i cash. If Nehro had won i think it would have been worth 10k & if Shack wins its prolly worth 30-40k. It disgusts me. 2weeks time should b enough time to clear my head. Cya in bmore folks.

I took Animal Kingdom to win for $100. Nice $2190 return.

Which seems to give this prop at sportsbook.com value:

Winning Jockeys Last Name Begins With A-M or N-Z
Letters A thru M -600
Letters N thru Z +400

I also see a tiny bit of value in
Winning Trainers Last Name Begins With A-M or N-Z
Letters A thru M +115

I'm probably missing something though.

Both winners, thanks Uncle Mo!

Good size carryover in the pick 6 at CD for thursdays card, awwwe u gotta love this game, get ur arrrrsss kicked in all weekend and 5 hours later ur lookin for the next best spot..he he.. They have yet to draw for thursdays card and what seems unorthodox to me is there not drawing til tuesday, usually 3 day advance on entries.. perhaps there takin an extra day to give empl time off.. Anyhow, above is link to the conditions of thursdays races, although you dont know what horses are in, it does allow you to get an advanced feel for how tough of card it will be, how many turf races, how big a ticket u might need to play, etc. For example, the 5th race is a 5k claimer going 1 1/6m, that tells me there will be a full field of 12 and 2-4 AE's, its a popular condition for midwest rats wanting cd glory. Its a nightmare for a pick6, they start off with a 1 1/6m 3yo&up 15k claimers who have never won 2 races good news is you get through those 2 ratified races, it gets classier with an Alw, AOC and a 5f turf race to close it out and thats also the super high5carryover race... geeezzz couldnt have picked a tougher race to have a H5 in.. Cant wait for draw, as sometimes the classier races dont fill, so they go to there alterntate races, which makes it even tougher usally. Alt races are in link as well.. lets getem guys..
