what, you don't like my girl, Tammi Piermarini??? Not included at all...

She's a favorite of mine, always seems to be a winner at these small tracks.

I bet the animals with four legs. Jockeys only matter to me if incompetent.

5f and yes you would have Walk ....I was just pointing out a trend i have noticed with P.Val this meet at SA in the last of the day,by no means am i telling you how to bet,you know me well enough to know i dont tell anyone this.

Kev and i part ways on the jockey thing, unless ofcorse its Ramon Dominguez,Ramon sure can get those 2/5's home, but rarely a 3-1,cant stand the guy. Like to see him get mistooken by Albarado for his wife

Waiting on changes at SA,and will have a capped card up. Getting back to doing what i do.

Actually I thought kevs response illicited a nice topic of conversation.

Wondering how much connections, especially jockeys, are considered in everyone's capping?

Anyway, good luck with the SA card today, Honch.

Thanks Walk. The short answer would be we are right Kev is wrong

I take into account jockey/trainer %'s often,as well as jockey/owner %'s,and jockey/owners/trainers %'s. Now i couldnt tell you what they are exactly,i just remember trends well when i see them. Kev feels differently, and thats fine,im not going to try and change his mind, because he never has mine and i respect the hell out of Kevs knowledge on the sport.

Gulfstream - Race 10

#7 Dialed In (2/1 ml)

You probably remember we were on this horse in the Holy Bull, and i like him again in this spot. Got some valuable two-turn experience last time out, and ran pretty well imo in a race that he CLEARLY wasn't cranked up for, and just because he happened to lose @ 1/5 that day, it seems that a lot of people have lost faith in him. Short morning line, as you can see, but he should be a pretty solid price here with the 9/5 ml favorite (and impressive Fountain of Youth winner) Soldat taking a ton of money. There will also be some support for To Honor and Serve, Stay Thirsty, and perhaps even Flashpoint (whom we had in the Hutcheson you may recall). This is a very tough spot for Soldat, having drawn the rail again, but this time with To Honor and Serve (who figures to be very prominent early) drawn on his immediate outside, along with Flashpoint likely being gunned from the outer post. Seems likely to be pressed very hard if he goes for the early lead again, and if he doesn't, he could potentially get boxed in along the inside. In any case, the pace figures to be very quick for the distance, which should set it up beautifully for Dialed In, who incidentally is sitting at #17 on the graded earnings list and is unquestionably cranked pretty tight for this one. Figures to improve a good bit off his two-turn prep race (where conversely, he was asked to close into a dawdling pace), and could very well blow past the tiring leaders here just as he did in the Holy Bull. The only real question is whether Dialed In can be as effective around two turns as he is around one, but frankly he might not even need to be, the way the race sets up here. Anything close to the kick he showed in the Holy Bull would likely get it done here. Could very well leap back into the Derby picture in a big way, not that he ever really left it to begin with. Expecting a pretty strong run from this guy, in the neighborhood of 5/2 or 3/1.

Agree with you DC, although it seems when we like the same horse, we go to the ****house. That being said, this race sets up perfectly for Dialed In, and any thing close to his Holy Bull effort gets the job done, imo. I bet him in The Derby Future pool 1 and a good showing here should send him to Churchill. I'm not sold yet on Soldat , but sometimes I'm too hard headed for my own good. either way best of luck to all. peace.

Dialed In was a gift at 5/2. Soldat was a very bad fave at 9/5, even tho he looked great last race, the other horses have alot more potential
