Yes, it is true.

That is where I plan on getting back all my monies... I'm just letting GP borrow it.

It's hard.. I usually pick by the seat of my pants (handicap with 6-8 mtp and get my bets in as they are moving into the gates). And trust me.. long run, u'd prob get buried following me. I just try to pick lightly raced bombers that only need to move forward a little bit to be competitive. Every now and then I get hot and hit a couple an hour. Then lose the next 15-20.

HHH !

Afleet Alex is supposed to beat those and a half in 44:3? I don't like how he lugs in so hard. If the 3 wasn't backpedaling so fast, he could've been dq'd. I bet ya the head on is UGLY.

Tale Of The Cat.. now THAT was an impressive performance!! Whoa Nelly!

As for the 1998 Belmont.. I was there with my uncle. Victory Gallop was one of his favorite horses. Second only to Wild Rush. He was running around the clubhouse with his finger to his lips ala Baffert's "Real Quiet" pose.. it was a great one and still gives me chills to this day. We didn't want 'ol Bob to get the crown.. and he didnt. No hard feelings Bob but, if someone is gonna do it.. we want it to be one of our own.. like Brooklyn Nick! C'mon Zito one time!!

I have met Nick at Gulfstream Park. Love how he just hangs out in the crowd sometimes.

Here is what he said about Dialed In's work today. From Bloodhorse.com.

“He’s just an amazing horse,”said trainer Nick Zito, who caught the final eighth in :11 flat. “I’ve felt strongly about a lot of the horses I’ve trained, but there’s something about this horse that stands out. He’s been a gift from God. After what he did, winning the Holy Bull in only his second lifetime start and off a 2 1/2-month layoff, we didn’t want to do too much with him.

"I hate to use the word ‘bounce,’ but that’s what he did in the allowance race (March 6 at Gulfstream, finished second), where the pace was very slow, it was against older horses, and the winner (Equestrio, who Zito trains) is a very good horse. I wouldn't be surprised to see him win a grade I race some day.”

I was pretty new to thoroughbred racing at the time and told my buddy simply "this race is longer so Victory Gallop catches him this time." I then asked the girl with us which name she liked from the rest of the horses?

Thomas Joe! DING DING DING DING!

How about dropping the real deadweight like Wolf. That guy is a tool.

Agree about Mirahmadi,he will catch on elsewhere without a doubt. Lyons was a moron, and Wolf is the TVG golden boy for whatever reason, and agree 100% about him.I have not watched TVG though since 08,and have not missed it.

Now HRTV has its own deadweight,Pincay jr just tilts me,and Seigel is like Mr B from TVG. I like Veracruze on HRTV is about it,and watch most races on Calracing so i dont have to hear the on air talent.

Up early for some Meydan racing today. The only wager i have put in yet is $100 W on Gio Ponti. I will not be capping Meydan, but will be following the tote, and making visual plays today (horses that catch my eye post-parade).
I intended to throw some coin around today and will try and get my plays in here before each race goes off. Thank Goodness for my severe hatred for Ohio St,(I am a Mich Man) and the bluegrass state ballers, saved my butt last night. Lets have some fun today, and make some monies

Meydan - Race 8 (Dubai World Cup)

#12 Twice Over (4/1 ml)

I gave this horse out in the World Cup last year, and i still like him. He's been extremely effective at 1 1/4 miles throughout his career (while facing world-class competition), and has also looked very sharp on synthetic. Last year's World Cup was his lone "poor" effort, although he was bumped in the early going and reportedly didn't act like himself after that (though he was only beaten 3 lengths at the wire in a blanket finish). Beyond that, also note that he was coming into the race with no prep off a 5-month layoff, and this year they've done things a little differently, shipping him in early and running him in the course-and-distance prep that has produced several European-based winners over the years (though they all came at Nad Al Sheba). He has reportedly been thriving of late, both in the prep race and in his recent training, per his regular rider Queally. Figures quite formidable with a clean trip.

Also, be advised, when you bet to place in Dubai, you also get paid if your horse runs third.
