I led every pole and ran outta gas a 1/16 out.. got second.

I still think of that one. FML.
Dare I ask if you had a hedge bet in that final race at Woodbine?

I use twinspires for live tote and will pays, they have a button for race replays and they claim to have feeds but, honestly.. I have TVG and HRTV so I never watched the feeds.
This above,i like twinspires myself,HRTV is good, but when i have to go to TVG for Hollywood i hit the mute button. Not a single on air talent outside maybe Ron Ellis when he makes an appearance says anything worth a damn.

Yeah, I had a bunch of straight win tickets as hedges but, it didnt pan out so well and i only ended up profiting a few grand.

I disagree only because I think Simon Bray is a knowledgable horseman.

Ol Mike Honcho reverted back to his magic man alias, now you see your $81,now you dont! LoL

It happens, going to cap tomorrows graded stakes races only. Not playing the Pick 6 or the Late Pick 4,just to costly to hit IMO. I do really like a Ellis horse tomorrow named Rail Trip, will be making a win wager if i can get some sort of price (i doubt) havent looked at the ML's yet,but will be using it as a single in my doubles and pick 3's for the graded races.

And again anyone who will be on track, Hawaiian Tropic Model pics!!

Everyone likes Rail Trip. He'll be odds on - probably 1-2 or worse. Maybe much worse.

LOL,thanks for the tip. I will just wait till the Kentucky Derby as i planned for my 1st live horse race. As for the poker, like i said give me a break, not going to waste my time if i cant sit at the 5/10 without at least a grand,i mean whats the F'ing sense,$100 max buy, what a joke!

Busy month coming up,Florida trip down in Clearwater, then the Hillbilly Outfield Party in Louisville on Friday before the Derby, then the Derby,2 week break then to Vegas for Event #4 WSOP. Hoping my health holds up,so far so good

Ok lets see what kind of damage i can do today, playing 4 pk3's starting with a single in the 4th (Rail Trip),then $27 for the last 3 (races 5-9) and rolling doubles starting in the 5th,using all 3 $18 plays x4,$152 total investment today. Will more than likely try and hit some exactas with todays tote, like to play them for example 23/2379 $6 plays.

4.) 6
5.) 10-8-6
6.) 4-1-10
7.) 8-1-7
8.) 4-6-2
9.) 10-6-11

Will check back later, having a BBQ with some friends of mine. Good Luck

Wowow...the announcer of TVG "Todd Schrupp" gave out his ticket before I personally seen it, he just hit the late Pick 4 at Keenland for $25,000 on a $60 investment.

I haven't seriously attacked horse racing yet. However, I do wish to get started. I've read several books and feel like I can now read a Form effectively.

However, today I was sent a notice that the PK6 carryover at Meadowlands is over 400k. Any of you guys trying to attack that?

Yes I seen that as well. You're going to lottery there...trying and just get a Pick 1 in before you try a Pick 6. However, Pick 3 and Pick 4 are your best bets and you will hit them often.

Pick 6 cost a lot to invest in and are very hard to hit espically on the harness.

Nowadays.. its easy just take Brian Sears in every race, lol.

Wow, Todd seriously nailed one for $25k??

He is the king of racing bad beats.. he always gets nailed.

Good for him... they used to cap annoucer tix at $50.. i guess they changed it.

I'm probably being a little less forthcoming than I should. I have bet horses pretty actively for the past ten years, but never seriously. I'm probably down, of course, but I do know a little more about it.

I have never bet harness racing though. What are we looking at as the key differences?

Pioneer of the Nile, whewww, not to damn bad himself with nothing to run at,nothing to run at last 2 races. I still havent heard why The Pamplemousse didnt run. It reminds me exactly of War Pass last year, and would of been exposed for exactly what he is,a 'fugasi',but thats just my opinion.

Yes, they do cap the tickets at $50 but usually on big days they take the cap off. But he did 1 horse, 2 horses, 6 horses then 5 horses and got a 13 to 1 in the last race for $24,205 I believe. Yep, they were all going crazy on the show he got it good. I'm sure another day they will have it on the net.
