Hit the pick 6 in the oaks. Had the #10 and 12 and was hoping I wouldn't somehow low which normally happens to me in the last leg.

Only beat was 12 would have paid $4.1k while the 10 paid 2.2k. I'll take the win though regardless. Had another p6 that went 5/6- just used the cox 1/5 turf as a single in other ticket so the capping was fire.

Will try to post a p6 play tomorrow. Gamine is the free square imo. Also think you can throw colonel liam as a p6 single however will have another ticket if he doesnt win as that is a really tough field. Think the derby has to be a 5-6 horse spread and can see some bigger #s in the 7furlong race where whitmore is ml fav (think hes a nice play against at 7 furlongs + aging horse that has had a little trouble winning in last 2 starts).

The other Mott in the 9th only thing saved my azz today because Crazy Beautiful i can not make any excuses for... Pletchers runner was a beast and deserved the W. Capped well but swingin and missin in the 10th F'd my PK4 ticket right up.

My day runs through gamine and colonels liam.

Have a bunch of p6 tickets hoping my capping is correct. Also like annex in the turf race that seems to have a ton of pace. Horse hasn’t lost but has faced slow paces- think this horse is a good bet if pace is on. Love irad for most races as he’s on top horses and feel he’s the best.

Derby- think I’m playing the #1 hoping he gets a clean trip behind a pace that hopefully breaks down a bit. The top 5-6 horses look tough in the derby and wanna see essential quality lose kinda.

Mandaloun is my value expectation if he regains form. Think that horse offers the best value on price. Flo and Brad Cox- never a bad combo for the derby.

I think it’s fine to not have Bet him at those odds. It’s normally a pretty bad sign when a baffert horse isn’t taking money. I don’t think the pace materialized like it most likely should have in a 20 horse field (rock your world didn’t go due to poor start).

Be the best turf horse this year in the US. Coming off a layoff and he nearly tags colonel Liam for the win. That horse is going to do big things this year. Very hard to come off a layoff and win a grade 1.

Back in the late 90’s/early oughts one of the best angles in horse racing was when there was an uncoupled Baffert entry in a race to always bet on the longest shot of the two. Was like taking candy from a baby..

BB i mean first thing i said was DOES the horse pass the post race...Sure it was Jimmy's patch right? My god this guy...When you can cheat yourself and the entire public i mean where to start...Public gets their $$ back? Reason they ALL stay on on the front end and never tire.

Of course no money is going back on bets. Baffert will lose a ton of money and maybe has ban coming. This isn't close to the first time he's ****ed up. Maybe people don't actually care.

Very frustrating regards to the betting. I had mandaloun, eq, hot rod Charlie all in my multi race wagers. Had a $10 daily double ticket, pick 6 ticket from oaks day that would have paid hefty with a 26-1 winning last leg, oaks/derby double, and oaks day pick 3 that all would have paid if mandaloun won.

Very annoying they can’t retroactively pay out bets correctly but I guess that is the risk with betting on horses. It’s really not fair to betters.

So who we taking today? Medina Spirit or Concert Tour, or is there another horse we should be looking at?

Like Irad in Preakness myself and his mount not sure why Joel picks up JPN here (unless was paid well to do so). Going to suck if the KYD winner is booed on the track but real possibility that happens hope not though BUT being connected to BB is not good now (thank goodness FINALLY!!)

midnight bourbon is loved in the betting pools so far. Think its hard to go away from medina spirit/bourbon in this race. Speed looks good on this track.

Concert tour could spoil I feel. I can't see concert tour and medina spirit battling it out for the lead. I like bourbon with a solid trip + irad but kinda weird race to handicap I feel.

I can't see any of the closers making up ground unless the pace falls apart which I just dont see happening. It would be awesome for a price if concert tour/ medina battled on the front end but just can't see that happening. I feel concert tour has no shot if hes not on the front end and I just dont see baffert telling mike smith to take CT to the lead. Its difficult though bc what happens if CT goes to the lead. The track seems speed friendly, maybe CT trips out and takes them all the way?

My ultimate thoughts- I think midnight bourbon sits 3rd behind CT and medina and finds a way to pass if they go a little too quick. Not quick enough to let closers pounce though. I can see Irad running a smart race and winning w/ a clean trip unlike he had in the derby. I feel only horses that can win are the chad brown horses/ CT/medina/ midnight bourbon. I feel all of the other horses have no shot but thats why they run the race. Pletcher has a horse in but the figs look meh and just not a fan of the form.

I agree baffert is a pos. I do think a 2 year ban is a fair punishment. It’s really going to hurt him with 3yo crop. Most top owners want to run in the derby or atleast have the shot to. I wonder if they can have baffert train up to derby and change trainer before bc he def has a track record of getting horses ready to win the derby (even though he has gotten some really quality horses).

Any hot takes for Belmont day? I like bound for nowhere in the turf sprint. A little worried it’s 6 furlongs however doesn’t look like a lot of speed signed on and the track will prolly be soft which I think favors early speed over closers. I feel that quick turn of foot is really hurt on a soft course. Other races- ugh I think knicks go is a single but I feel beating him could lead to solid prices + maybe he takes a step back after coming back from overseas.

Belmont- very tough for me to pick a winner. I like eq, agenda, and the other top 2. I think agenda is best price play out of those as he’s a pletcher horse and pletcher seems to do very well in the belmont. Think his trip will be a lot cleaner here also. Think eq is most likely winner with a solid trip. also wouldn’t toss rombauer as his speed fig was solid in the Preakness.

I wanna play a p6/p5 but just don’t see many prices. I feel the Manhattan goes to gufo/domestic spending/ colonel Liam also. Domestic most likely winner, however I like Liam with the pace and soft course. Maybe tribhuvan freaks out on the front again? Tough race I must admit but those 3 are my plays in horizontals. I like gufo a lot but wish the turf would be firm. Think he could be a great play later this summer at Saratoga if he gets a firm turf course- think his last race was only a loss due to wet conditions.... losing to channel cat was def an outlier type event.
