The best horse did not win and that's a damn shame.
Posts like these irritate me. The best horse scratched earlier in the week first off. Omaha beach would have won for fun if he was healthy and ran. 2nd, a horse can’t run out 2-3 lanes and stop the momentum of other horses with a potential shot to win. I say potential bc who knows if they would get by MS.... but I’ve seen tired horses on a lead just crawl at the stretch.

This mistake by MS (not even the jockey just going wide to block) could have legit caused a few horses and jockeys to go down. If the horse with his legs between MS somehow goes down, honestly I felt horseracing was going to be in huge trouble with recent deaths at SA, etc.

Why are people getting mad at Flavien Prat and bill mott? Isn’t the point of facing to win. You can say ms was the best horse all you want an she crossed the line first. The horse stopped 2 other horses and was taken down in standard fashion. There is too much money on the line for the owner not to tell his guy to call it in and have the race looked at. Jockeys get what 10% of the purse. You are honestly telling me you wouldn’t call in a blatant foul in one of the biggest races even if it had a slight chance to be overturned? Jocks put there life’s on the line and you are going to tell me they shouldn’t be trying to make as much money as possible. Ughh people are so irrational when it comes to losing money. They only reason people are bitching is bc MS was 2nd fav so a ton of people had money on him and all of these amateur noob horse fans for a day are clueless on to what horseracing rules are.

Can we all just talk about Hong Kong racing for a bit?

Yeah I’m mad about a 4-1 win ticket and not the exacta and trifecta I had won. Sorry jk I’m not on your handicapping level. Now I need to add capping for disqualifications to my toolbox.

You know what irritates me? People who bring up OB. He didn't run, therefore he wasn't the best horse in the race. L D O.

As for most of the rest, we'll agree to disagree. Would you have been proud of this 'victory'? Not I.

I am def no expert on the rules, but I have been watching/betting a long time now and what I saw on Sat very much rubbed me the wrong way. FTR I did have a tiny bet on MS, as well as two others. That does not play into my feelings here at all though. Anyone who knows me IRL can vouch for this.

GL to you, sir.

The point we were disputing was: "The best horse did not win and that's a damn shame.". There was no mention of "in the race".

That's because I thought it was blatantly obvious. Guess not.

Dry track + Good Break = Game Winner crushing this field

I knew as soon as I saw GW break, that he lost the race.

I do not trust Joel Rosario in the mud.

That being said, any chance GW runs in the Belmont? Seems like the perfect race for him and maybe with his 5th place finish in the KD, maybe people forget about him?

Improbable at 3/2 on Bovada for Preakness

Improbable's race to lose?

I'm just now recovering from the Vegas trip. My main pick to win was 6 for $125. $50 win on 7 and 20 were my other win bets. Had 3 $1 ex boxes and would have hit all three if the 7 didn't get taken down plus the $50 win on him but needless to say I was much better off and happy with the end result.

Has there been any updated news regarding how so many horses died at race track yet.
I am glad it didn't happen in Australia, well to that magnitude. Our Animal Rights Activists are going nuts already on local farms. Heard a whisper they won't find the Drug responsible as No test yet all natural well kind of. Zman!

Looking at the Preakness:

Warriors Charge looks like he’s gonna set the pace. Improbable will catch him, and then if we can figure out who will benefit most from a disqualification we can catch a price after the dust clears. Maybe Bodexpress will be declared the winner.

At this point horse racing has become figure skating where they run the race and then the judges declare who the winner is.

There’s been almost 1,000 horse races since the derby, has the amount of judges deciding the races changed at all since then or are you just upset over your $2 WPS on max security

Lol tad more than that my man. I’m just sick of replay in general. This quest to make sure the outcomes are perfect is ruining the entertainment value of sports for me personally.

If you want to bet on sports with no rules, maybe wrestling would be good for you?

If these prices remain steady I have to take a shot with Anothertwistoffate. Never ran a clunker and Jose should have him in the clear which has not happened in his previous two.
