Restoring hope couldn’t win the pat day mile. Funny duck, some extreme long shot won that day on a sloppy track. Restoring hope had no business running in the Belmont. Anyone that says bob baffert didn’t inform geroux on a way to help justify is crazy in my opinion.

Think it’s unfair for this to happen to the everyday bettor. Restoring hope was a great blocker to any challenge justify would have receive on the front end. Sure when you look at the race, justify was the best but I feel if another horse challenges on front end, totally different race. Mike smith saying something at the end to Florentine geroux like we did it at the end was also comical.

It works for me. I’ll bet heavy against justify in the travers. Audible in my mind wins the derby if he gets a cleaner trip around final turn in the KD. Justify hot dream trips in all three races honestly.

Holding off till tomorrow like the card and opportunities it offers at Belmont...Been hit and miss trying to catch vuln favs on the card here this and last week trying to get 1 in them before Toga.

Diversify came out straight and fast cut to the rail and that is all she wrote in a dominate performance as well. I know the horse likes the Belmont track but that was a huge effort. Distinct game plan set by the team and rider executed perfectly.

The anticipation for Toga is becoming reality quickly If i am going to piss away $$$ this is the scenery fellas. Reading over at Paulick on the tournaments they also have set for Toga meet and would be a blast to be able to compete in and never played a live bankroll tourney...i look at each tote day as a BR tourney to a point.

Del Mar as well and this is just a personal thing i suppose i cut my teeth on the SoCal tracks and for the first few years never really looked at the east coast until weekends...this is the complete opposite now and not exactly sure why but Cali racing just lost that first green is gold i guess with me.

Just an observation from my watching MG beat MB again...I thought MG was and still is just a very professional excellent horse BUT what caught my eye was the professionalism of Mike Smith on MB...He saw his chance and asked went to the stick left hand once solid felt the response and knew...Instead of continuing to smack the hell out of the animal as maybe a younger rider may to show effort on his end he recognized felt it and did not wrap her up but allowed horse to run out because he KNEW she gave all she had and i respect the hell out of that by Mike Smith.
