any thoughts on the southwest today?
I think Mourinho is a play against and this race will convince baffert that this horse is a sprint master.
taking a shot with Ezmosh.

The Cal Cup Derby winner Heck Yeah is a talented horse. Go look at his win on the Downhill turf his last start before this and watch the start and where he was and see where he finished and how much he finished by after that start. 2 times on the dirt now and once over a tricky 6.5 grass course. This horse is talented.

Nice job Honcho! What was the result of that? I jerked around with it a bit, but plan on giving an honest effort Saturday. Thoughts on the FOY? Some intriguing runners in here. Pretty sure I have to play against the favorite. Kinda like the Casse horse and the Pletcher Tapit.

Hey aph thanks a lot man! Money it was $217.40 23 of us did it it looked like BUT i thought i was playing for 5K no split until about week 4 when it finally came out of Johhny D's mouth never thought that time would happen with that cat holy cow at the end of his Monday hour that was a share of so i was pissed off decided then just to finish it out. Had ideas of everyone i know signing up using the 1st time bonus keep a K for their time and starting year with 100K on the cuff But would seem there are others that see the wiggle and either burned or anticipated someone seeing things like i do so ended up just taking scalps which is fine enough.

Hard go against i know and BOL tomorrow aph hope to see your name on the front page and if i do it right my damn self there as well

FOY

If the #4 and #5 go at it up front and the Loooch horse on the outside should try to get close position up front and set quick fractions it should set up nice for GM but if another has a chance coming off the pace would be the #1 and #8 but i would take GM for the W looks like it will set up nice for a stalking run.

Well at Tampa i believe it was the #10 horse Proctors Ledge is allowed to go Dr Gonzo by the stewards and try and weave a Z in the turf course and a quick no action taken when i KNEW he fouled JP and should of been rightfully pist off.

SA you have B'DO pinch MI a little at the far turn you get $Mike make a little contact (his mo i know he is aggressive and will use whatever edge he can) stewards here should of said IMO rubbins racing fellas that was borderline but should of been a 3 minutes review and quick no decision did not affect outcome of the race period and it did not imo.

For the actual race i thought B'DO showed heart and what i was looking for today...goal is KYD not today but horse showed that heart like seeing that and same for MI but did not catch my eye like B"DO.

That was a rough result for me. I had a solid sized win/place bet on mckinzie. I'm a little biased but I felt after the turn bumping which i felt was castellano's fault..... I feel they should have let the race stand. However I can see how mike smith moving his horse out might have spooked bolt d'oro a little and this is why he didn't pass him.

I hope bolt d'oro remains a fav for the derby. I will def fade him. I'll stick to big name trainers. I like audible a lot based on the look test from his last race. Def think mckinzie/ audible will be the play for derby day but time will tell in the final major preps.

I think castellano makes a big mistake if he sticks with bolt d'oro. I would rather be on a pletcher horse but thats just my thought.

Hit a lot of us in the multi's hard with that DQ BUT i am differing of opinion on B'DO after post race interview with MR saying his horse was only at 80% and showed that at 80 being within a nose of Mik is impressive imo going forward.

Have to be looking at GP every race day for the rainbow imo at this point.

From today, one of the horses I bet was hindered in a turf race at gulfstream. Horse ended up finishing 3rd, had a solid amount on W/P/S. Any idea why jockeys don't cry foul sometimes?

The horse I bet was making a run down the lane and the horse that ended up winning started drifting toward horse I had which I bet spooked the horse and he didn't pass the eventual winner. The horse I had looked like he flattened out so honestly I can't say he would have won but i was shocked the jockey didn't complain.

It was race 10 at gulfsteam and I had the #6. Wondering if anyone saw race or can explain to me it wasn't something that would be looked at.

at the 22:05 mark. I just wanna know if I have a valid point or am I just super biased since I bet on horse. I watched it just now and I can't see how they can't take a look at this. It looks like the #6 is going to easily go by eventual winner with momentum but evidently slows down when he almost gets crunched by being between 2 horses. I just don't understand how a horse can't be taken down in a situation like this. It just looks so bad and changes the outcome of the race.

I remembered the race but watched the replay and what i saw is what i saw when the race was ran your horse was saving ground inside covered up and went to jump in the 2 hole when it opened and it shut damn near as quick on him and the horse was in tight BUT imo in that spot if you claim foul here you can damn near claim foul on every turf then imo this is just racing in this spot.

Thanks for reply into that. I just wondered if it was just normal racing. I feel jockey goofed. Why not just go outside and give up ground on final turn. I felt the horse he had was much the best and wins going away if he just gets a full lane to barrel down. I still don’t understand saving ground a ton on final turn. It seems like easier to get ok trip if you just angle out on final turn especially on a favorite that has been covered up for the whole race.

Reading on this Peter Miller suspension and there is a guy the sport needs out front as its face What is a $2500 fine to Pete i have got to imagine not a lot maybe make Pete do 10 push ups and when he can and only when he can do 10 in a row can he be allowed back on the grounds. I would say sit ups but that would be cruel and unusual if you ever saw Pete. Baby stroller huh? What a stand up guy.

Had a self inflicted error that the customer service at DRF really went above and beyond for me great folk over there and the selection of tournaments is excellent imo.

Interesting day I'll get back to that...Later today if you are a NHC Tour member ($50) you are eligible to win a seat for free to the NHC on Horseplayers.com with their free tournament tomorrow. I know your thinking such a huge field and Honcho is in it so feel already dispirited going in BUT if that does not deter you BOL.... Kevroc got himself there last year this way.

So i have to imagine some longtime HRT readers know dogs hate me! No idea why i am a vegan but have some oobatz mutts in the neighborhood. Pitbull home owner and i had a Pete Miller convo this evening except the homeowner was an adult man and i go this way to do my road work every day so next few days should be funny as hell.

Gulfstream Park is where everyone's eyes should be at on Saturday i would think with the big rainbow mand payout i have been waiting a couple weeks for today patiently. I know there is Dubai crap going on but i will not wager on that track for a thing. BOL to all chasing the PK6 today down South Beach way.

Fellas would not even believe me if i told ya the nonsense STILL going on about the dog and its owners around here so when i have the time Sunday it is a funny read or an easy skip over. No Better Friend No Worse Enemy they chose the latter.

Good luck honcho! Great day for handicappers today. I'm playing gulfstream. We finally get a bunch of solid stakes races.

For today- wanna play against sadlers joy in turf race (thinking bigger picture- however this is a tough race to cap and i feel a lot of horses could win even though not many classy horses in this race).

Also I like audible, however tough race. A lot of pace. Hoping he can rate well and sit behind the speed and take over on final corner. I see this happening but time will tell.
