Yes your wrong. Twinspires,Xpressbet,yYoubet, cant go wrong with those 3,depending on your state. Mentioned all this a few post above. Why would you assume offshore sites?

Mrs Freeze horse was a scratch today at Aqueduct.

Depending on bonuses offered and/or fixed odds wagering etc etc

Also, the fact that the money doesnt hit the pools.. certain bettors may advantage in playing offshore.

Pick 4 and pick 6 players like myself are probably better going with legal sites where the wagers are co-mingled with the pools.

You were exactly right about my thinking. The money not hitting the pools has to be +EV. I also agree with you on the Pick 6, but if you can play a Pick 4 on a site (I noticed bodog allows Pick 4 wagering) wouldn't you also go with them on the same reasoning?

Gotcha, understand what your thinking now. Play all 6's,4's and 3's w/Twinspires and Xpressbet. Use a local for futures for fixed like my $200 on Friesan Fire @ 7/1. Dont trust offshore, sure their plenty safe, just my preference.

To show you how the price of the horse doesn't matter that much at all. Ofcourse, you probably won't get no champion for a couple thousand. However,

April 17th Keenland Race #10. #7. Keep Thinking They paid $2,400,000 for the horse he has came in 2nd, 4th and latest race finishing last. All MSW, so you can see for $2,400,000 they got a POS.

Anyone like anything in the 1st at Aqueduct? April 17th...Probably going to make a Pick 3 and bet a horse to win.

Trying to decide out of #1 Boss Tiffany and #3 Cool the Economy

#1 Boss Tiffany, is two for two on the main track at Aqueduct. Going by her earnings for those two wins "$38,400" it looks like they were Allowance races. According to Dave Litfin in the front he mentions that both those wins were Boss Tiffany going from Routes to Sprints...1 mile to 6 furlongs, the form doesn't go back that far. The pick.

Plus, Dominic Galluscio has been doing really well at the meet and lately. Also the best stat in the race comes from him bringing horses from Routes/Sprints of 26%. Holds the best beyer and quickest time for the distance. Boss Tiffany ran against the favorite this race and got beat...however, the favorite that race was slightly Boss Tiffany. Also Cool the Economy was in her prime when she won that race.

#3. Cool the Economy, big class drop comming off 2nd off layoff 9%. Scared of possible wire to wire. Cannot throw this gal out in your bets.

A couple of reasons why going local for p4 and p6.

1) You never know if you are gonna get paid when dealing with offshores. Not a big deal when talking about a few bucks but, if you hit a nice five figure score, you don't want to risk it.

2) There is a cap on the payouts depending on the track and the site. I remember hitting a pick four on a site years ago that paid over around 7k and the max payout was 5000:1 so i "lost" 2k.

If you are a large bettor in WPS pools.. then I can definately see the allure but, it is safer IMO to stay local with horizontals..

Imagine being the lone winning pick six ticket in a huge pool and because "technically" there is no winning 6 of 6 ticket... all you can get is a bunch of 5 of 6 consos!!

Seriously.. how can they pay you 6 of 6 when, it didn't really happen according to the "pool".

That's a good question...probably you would get the max payout depending on the pool size. I would never make any Pick 4 or Pick 6 wager off shore, if I did I would only do it with a extremely rep. site. However, off shores that have caps like 5000 max...you really should have no problem getting paid. Off shores are good for big WPS bets obv...but you have to trust them very well.

So, I was checking limits and bodog offers a $30k max pay out for class "A" tracks per race. It then goes to $15k for class "B" and further down for that. So, $30k would be okay for a pick 4, I'm assuming. As far as I can tell, no offshore site allows P6 betting. That's fine, I would assume.

Betonline has a $25k limit per race on Class A and $15k on class B tracks and so forth.

I'm guessing that a pick 4 would not increase your limit to $120k since you are technically betting on four races?

I just looked at the race and I would go with #3 love Hushion in these type of spots.

I'd put in a saver exacta 2-3, I respect Tony Dutrow here.

No way they do that.. they will see it as a $1 wager and keep the cap at $30k, which shouldnt be a problem.

played $27 and $8 late p4 tickets at SA and missed 4/4 on both because Bejarano can't ride for **** and/or thought the finish pole was a furlong farther than it really was riding the favorite.

I have trouble catching Bejarano too.. truth be told though, i think he is one of the best at timing his moves with a stretch runner.

Bailey, Smith, Bejarano, Rene Douglas, Robbie Alvarado, Solis, Garret Gomez and Johnny V come to mind when I think closers.

Most top jocks have that versatility it takes but, I have confidence that these guys can find the holes with deep closers.

Made a nice score yesterday had a good win ticket on Boss Tiffany and hit the triple. She was in trouble early on and clipped heels and got checked and looked pretty much dead...but then turning for home I could tell she was a winner and came late to win.

Boss Tiffany Coa E M 117 9.60 5.00 3.00
$2 Trifecta (1-6-3) Paid $223.00

For anyone who is interested today. Was looking at this horse and liked her alot and then realized who the owner/breeder was.

Keenland Race #5 April 18th

#8. Teriffany...Actor Joe Pesci is the owner and breeder of the horse.

Looks pretty good in the form and has a ton of early speed and will be right out to the front. Also the smoking hot Wesley Ward is the trainer who has been doing excellent at the meet...40% winners and 70% itm. Also is about 6 for 15 when taking the blinkers off. 5:1 moring line. There is no other speed in the race and is now getting shipped back to Keenland where she broke he maiden. Should be a easy winner wire to wire.

I will try and go 2 for 2 as a new breed to the forums

Also just noticed that the amazing Ready's Echo is running today in the 6th race at Keenland April 18.

How can anyone forget this maiden debut...was about 25 lenghts off the lead turning for home and came to get second. I know Ready's Echo ran in the Belmont after that and got third and is now making the 09' debut. 8-5 Morning Line. Not betting this horse...maybe at a decent price but just excitied to see this horse run.

Here is the maiden debut, and yes Ready's Echo is the last horse turning for home.

But the best closer of them all was back in 1958 Santa Anita. Silky Sullivan was off the leader by 41 lenghts and came to win!

But it seems with all of these great horses that come from off 25-41 lenghts off the lead, they turn out to be junk horse and will never run that race again ofcourse. However, Ready's Echo has atleast proved he can run.

Ahh great race, question for you. I hate going to the racetrack and people talk stupid...had this guy saying Secretariat wasn't even a good horse because he never carryed any weight and was running against crap. Obv he is stupid as Secretariat was the greatest race horse ever...but did Secretariat carry any extra weight?

Oh that note of how a horse should run:

awesome find, will make for a fun sweat.

another shot at p6 carryover at santa anita, though i'm thoroughly prepared to be drawing dead after the first leg:

1 // 2 // 2,4,8,9 // 6,12 // 3,9 // 5
