Re: Golf Betting Picks and Discussion Thread

Yeah tough spot, Rahm has been pretty ropey. Especially on the par 3's

He's 40% of my total bet amount this week, 17.0 at 20% 1-9 seemed too good to pass up.

Re: Golf Betting Picks and Discussion Thread

I got 7/10 through:

Conners, Ancer, Hughes, Munoz, Rooyen, Higgs, Rahm. Missed: Perez, Ben an, Cam Smith.

65-75% back on any top 9, so lol me if this bricks out.

Re: Golf Betting Picks and Discussion Thread

Lot of books seem to think DeChambeau is a favorite over Simpson to win. Pinnacle opened their H2H matchup as basically 50/50, but of course BM opens Simpson +121. So lets fall into their trap.

Round 3 Matchup - RBC - Webb Simpson +121 - (Webb Simpson vrs Bryson Dechambeau) RISK: 2u
Round 3 Matchup - RBC - Alex Noren -110 - (Jason Dufner vrs Alex Noren) RISK: 0.12u
Round 3 Matchup - RBC - Tyrrell Hatton +105 - (Sergio Garcia vrs Tyrrell Hatton) RISK: 2u
Round 3 Matchup - RBC - Matt Kuchar -133 - (Matt Kuchar vrs Max Homa) RISK: 0.77u

Re: Golf Betting Picks and Discussion Thread

crushing everything closing, what could go wrong

the simpson line is the weird one. i got it at +130 and then it moved to +121, +109, but now it's coming back at +115. and other books are moving to bryson. i don't get the hype. is it because he's 400 lbs now or something

at least Justin Thomas cooled down too.

Going into 18 up one from Rahm.

Rory is crushing Watson

we might actually win big bets today!

My lone 6/6 has some potential. I no longer want a Corona Cancellation.

Webb, Xander, Hatton, Woodland, English and a 3% owned Maverick McNealy

Re: Golf Betting Picks and Discussion Thread

PGA has updated McNealy's score. Apparently, he bogied the last. There goes the bogey free bonus plus the dropped shot.

I've got a bunch of Ortiz, Conners, and a few others boosting my 4/6s and 5/6s.

Re: Golf Betting Picks and Discussion Thread

too many people went crazy today

if webb and bryson don't separate from the pack tomorrows gonna be interesting

kinda wish i went reed/hatton over matsuyama/hovland now

got hatton on FD and cleaning up

i can't believe we have hatton -7, over garcia for a lot, and garcia might actually tie or beat him.

what a world.

Re: Golf Betting Picks and Discussion Thread

lol webb misses a 3 foot putt for birdie. it hit something on the green. too much hubris will be our downfall

talk about rahm, 0 birdies

talk about simpson, bogeys immediately and now this.

Re: Golf Betting Picks and Discussion Thread

Webb's SGP had to run out of steam eventually. This has been such an interesting moving day, I thought Webb and Dechambeau were over priced at the start of the day and even more so now.

Gl tomorrow GM, another 63 should get the job done! You going to be looking for lays or balls to the wall?

Re: Golf Betting Picks and Discussion Thread

the course has really high morning/afternoon wave splits (unless you're xander schauffele then it's reversed for some reason)

webb and dechambeau probably gonna be at a huge disadvantage if they stay up high and tee off late tomorrow too

day 1 splits being close is a little misleading. all the good golfers teed off in the afternoon and kept it close. when they tee'd off in the morning on day 2 the scores went crazy

Re: Golf Betting Picks and Discussion Thread

3 holes simpson up by 2

if that alleged pro sports bettor who says he doesn't want attention but then goes on podcasts nonstop and tells newspapers to quote him, who is allegedly bookmakers golf linemaker even tho he allegedly crushes golf so much, but he must have went to the other side for charity reasons instead of making millions like Iowa! and real golf crushers, is really their linesmaker - bad day for him.

Alright, today could have gone better. Ancer / Van Rooyen / Conners for the win. Can any one reckon the odds on me getting at least one top 8?
