nice man, we're all rooting for it

btw i've tried most of the podcasts and i feel like a lot either spouting random stats or just talking about random stuff

definitely gave both those guys a listen for a little while a few years back but gave up and can't remember any big difference

tour junkies most popular one but they tilt the hell out me as they are wasted 15 minutes into the pod but have heard they've gotten better about putting the more analytical stuff up front before they drunkenly complain about how their washing machine has trouble getting red wine stains out of it or whatever the current pressing topic they seem to be discussing is

will try them again based off you rec and give em a second chance, believe they are still in my feed too

I tried the Tour Junkies too last summer. To be honest, none are as good as the FGB (now FTNNetwork) guys. They didn't just spout names, they explained their process.

If you're into Fantasy Football, they are like JJ Zachariason. They taught us what to look for. They give insight into their process, not the picks.

JJs Late Round Podcast is phenomenal.

I've recently found that PGA Tour's website not only has Proximity to Hole from certain distance buckets, but also GIR from those same buckets. I might start using both instead of just proximity to hole.

As for the Degens, they BS for a while at the beginning, but it's the entertaining part of the show. Skip it. In the show notes of the file, they give the times where they start talking about different things.

e.g.
Recap 3:09
Koepka vs Bryson 10:39
Course Preview/Strategy 25:25
DFS Pricing Tiers 32:17
Bets/One and Done 1:01:20

Rahm to win per:

Iowa! Golf: 80.8%
Data Golf: 81.1%
Market: 75%
Sigley Golf: $$$

The gap in my numbers and market is due to the conditions and how it will impact scoring distribution. Would not bridge jump Rahm to win at this point but if you already have him it's probably safe to start counting your money.

[Warning: Crostposting to Golf Forum's 2018-19-20 season thread.]

So, I was taking a look at next week's 3M PGA Course Preview.

If you click through the individual holes, you get the Hole, Par, Length, Avg score, birdie/par/bogey percentages, and brief description of the holes.

If you scroll down (just below those), you have what looks like a scorecard with Hole, Par, and length. These lengths do not match up with the individual hole previews.

For DFS purposes, a 228-yard par 3 is different than a 193-yard par 3. Y'all know more about the tour and courses, so, which yardage should I trust (hole preview or scorecard)?

lifesaver, thought i'd have to swim unsupported today and was just looking these over and highlighted steele/watson as two to consider

in addition to yours i also am considering

hovland>thomas +104
leishman>woods +105
scheffler>spieth -108
reavie>willet -118

but i also liked two you clearly dislike enough to bet the other side so will put down a min bet on each

Rahm now -475 to win it, ofc this is the week i don't triple down on him but he's doing god's work right now as a surprsisingly low owned guy in dfs cash this week lfg!

I'm not hating the bogey-bogey start from Brooks.

Those yardages are different than both. Respectfully, may I ask where you are getting your information?

Shotlink.

There is a 228 tee box they used in R1 and R2 and a 193 tee box used in R3 and R4. These are actual yardages to the pin, not the yardage to the center of the green from a given tee box that the scorecard/preview is likely referencing.

Can you please post the link? That way I don't have to ask you every week.

On the tour site do the following

Schedule -> 3M Open -> Leaderboard

From there select Matt Wolff, or any player playing four rounds, to open up the scorecard pane. Select round 4 and then click hole 13. The yardage there will be the actual yardage for the day. Repeat by selecting rounds 1 - 3 to get the yardages for four days.

I have Bradley > Singh and all I can say is he is now captain of the ban list. 3 up after 8 and he goes:

Miss from 3"8 bogey
Miss from 4"11 bogey
Miss fom 3"8 bogey
Miss from 6"11 bogey

Drive 384 yards, 47 to the pin. Hit it to 55 feet and 3 put

Leishman gets a nice birdie to start and then immediately starts imploding on the 2nd.

Looking at double bogey unless he can nail this long putt.

At least Streelman is not doing good.

Dear Fatrick Reed,

Please stop making birdies. That'll be all.

Lol, just as i say that, he sinks a 28 foot putt to save par. Still a 3 shot edge on Streelman with 5 to play. Last 3 holes are brutal tho.

He's gained 2 strokes putting today somehow despite being +4. Praying he holds on here.

Tiger Woods super slow play is screwing him.

I just checked milly maker and I have 4 lineups in the 500s. Lets go Horsch, Rory, and Fitzpatrick. I'm assuming everyone in front of me has Rahm too so just don't do anything stupid.

this idiot leishman just missed a 5 foot birdie putt by 4 feet. he didn't even hit the ball

Fitz -2! Willet down to -4

Everyone is imploding today so if Fitz just shoots par he's probably gonna win. It appears Wallace is british too so he needs to lose a couple strokes.

I have Hovland > Munoz. 3 shot leading heading to 16 and he tripples it. Pretty brutal
