After that early 1-0 the game was decent. After the 1-1 it was so boring, hopefully better game tonight. I skipped all bets, wish I followed my instinct on the draw...

what's everyone thoughts on tonight game? I got Belgium to go to the next stage at $1.32 not much value but pretty confident for the win.

I'm a bit worried with Belgian injuries, although they're still really deep even on their bench and the fact that Wales beat them last year 1-0 but they should get it done. Not much value @ Belgian to win in regular time, I kinda like Belgian to win 1st H @ 2.5 or perhaps O 1 goal 1st H but I gotta look at it more.

I think Germany to win the whole thing @ 4 -1 is still a steal, despite next up Italy possibly being the toughest test for them. Put a small amount on O1 goal for 1st H Belgian/Wales as well.

Shoulda posted but took Wales to win 2nd H @ 4.60-1, they looked way better and Belgium looked shocked and scared even by half time, good result all in all.

Thoughts on the Germany/Italy game? I have a futures on Germany so am a bit biased obv, but it does seem to be a scary matchup although Motta and potentially some others are out for Italy. Not sure if there's better value in a tie @ 2.98, or Germany to win in reg time @ 2.25, I prob like Germany to win better but could def see it going to extra time. Under 0.5 Goals for 1st H @ 2.31 looks good too.

This is effectively betting on Ronaldo not to score again in this tournament (which will return $1.75) and, on occasion, Nani to prevail (returning $3.50). There are another two (less likely) scenarios- Queresma or Renato Sanchez score a goal (reducing my return to $1.33) or more (returning nothing).

I've attempted to weight these events by, what I perceive to be, their respective probabilities. It's a wee bit messy as there are also scenarios where both Nani and Ronaldo score and you need to account for the fact that there may be only one remaining game for Portugal (i.e. they might lose to Wales) but I've come up with a value of 15%.

Just wondered if any of you would attempt to do the same so that we might compare independent solutions.

Anyone touching Iceland/France? I'm torn...

France has never scored in the 1st H of any of their Eurocup matches so far, whereas Iceland has scored 4 of their 6 goals in this tourney so far in the 1st H.

France has done the bare minimum to advance or eeked out wins at the end of the game it seems, so I might be looking at 1st H tie @ 2.30 or seems to be some good value @ Iceland to win 1st H @ 8.05. I could definitely see France winning but in a similar fashion to their last game with Ireland where they could be down 0-1 @ H.

Wish the O/U was at 2, I'd be loading up on the Over but 0 2.5 is a tough line, same with France -1 which you've gotta like more then when it was France -1.5 but seems to be another tough game to find a play on.

*I'm talking about small plays mind you on these 1st H values, nothing substantial.*

7-1 for Iceland to win 2nd H, shippp. The best spots ended up being for 2nd H bets had 7-1 for Iceland to win or was 3.5-1 for a tie thought both very likely.
