celtic have had a game on saturday and travelled a ridiculous distance in a short space of time to play this match and have not had the team properly scouted. they also dont fare particularly well on plastic pitches while the kazachs are used to the pitch. kelvin wilson is gone at the back and ambrose looks suspect against big physical forwards of which the kazachs have 2 and play a long ball game. they also look suspect at the back so celtic will score tonight and be happy to go away with a draw or losing by one with an away goal with the result being 1-1 (5-1) or 2-1 to the kazachs (12-1).

What do you make of this lineup

not actually plastic but synthetic. celtic struggled big time on it against elfsborg in the last round. although its the same pitch for both teams the home side will be used to how the ball runs on the pitch and that can prove an advantage.

decent line up for celtic although having a debutant as your centre back in such an important game is a bit of a risk but van dijk is a big capable looking guy and starting ahead of the increasingly uncomfortable looking ambrose should be an advantage as long as they gel quickly against two big centre forwards that will be getting the ball punted to them all night. celtic definately have goals in them so maybe a better idea to bet in running after having a look at how the defence performs in the opening stages having seen the line ups now.

yeh a celtic fan. still fully expect us to go through the tie providing we dont lose 2-0 where it will become a bit of a struggle. i just didnt see us winning tonight against a big team with our current defence and given the fact we would be happy with a score draw or 2-1 defeat with the second leg is at home and in front of 60,000 fans making the 4/5 look incredible value.

we have created a few good chances and should have at least one goal so far but seem to be struggling with their long throw ins with dijk missing the first header that lead to the goal hopefully nick a goal in the second half and not concede again.
