They blew it in the first half with 66% possession but only 2 shots. Gave Italy hope. Awful gameplan

Ugh, didn't think I would have a hard time picking Spain in final
Probably staying away but will bet Spain to win in regulation +190
Only concern is Brazil got extra day rest while Spain played in extras

Edit : I do feel like Spain will embarass Brazil, have to wait for starting lineups to pull trigger

Did pretty good this conf cup,
Putting 25% of winnings on Spain to win in regulation +191
I don't think fatigue will be a factor and Brazil will look to push up tempo since its full of young inexperiencrd kids, and Spain will chew then on the counters.
Brazil looks crap on defense as well.
I wouldn't ve surprised if Spain wins this by 3 goals.

We ll see I guess

Re: Football (soccer) betting thread

what do you guys think about the under/over 2.5? just of the top of my head i think this game is close to 50-50 or at most 55-45 in favor of the under and you can get the over at +134 on betfair.. kind of makes me feel over has value, i think brazil score at least 1 a large portion of the time and i very seldom see spain losing this game 1-0.. both to score at -112 might be a better look gonna mull this one over for the next couple of hours

edit: line moved to -110 and just jumped on both to score

I don't dislike this although Everton have significantly better defenders than Wigan did last season.

Not sure if there's any spread betting markets available yet but selling Everton on the spread could be an idea, I think there may be too many bad sides for relegation though.

Everton are really far from having the makings of a relegation battler, their solid at the back and teams that are solid defensively rarely ever go down.. That being said i think the new gaffer will impose his ground-passing possesion philosophy and everton dont have enough quality in the centre of midfield to pull it off so i see them struggling sure, but i dont think their ever going lower than 12. Place (barring significant injuries of course).. at least for me to want to take a punt on them for relegation id need AT LEAST somewhere around 65ish-1

liverpool trying to rekindle their 70s/80s glory

all they need is a sponsorship from carlsberg and robbie fowler to win the league
