Re: Football (soccer) betting thread

for me only $20

and obviously as soon as over 2.5 goes to 2.00 they shut down their site for "routine maintenance" during the peakest of **** they could have in a month. Obviously my $20 free roll is not what they care about but it is annoying none the less.

I took under 2.5 @ 2.30 or something like that for the pregame.

Re: Football (soccer) betting thread

Extra time moved the line now we going for the middle, ended up with O1.5 @ 1.61.

original bet $20 on Under 2.5 @ 2.30

probably could have waited a bit longer but oh well.

Re: Football (soccer) betting thread

no problem

edit: anyone want to compare stats, for football mostly.

im 39/61 for predictions so correct 63.9% of the time, but ROI of -51.68%. Think i need to size my bets better. Also bet too much on wins rather than win or draws.

I don't think this match gonna end in a draw.

The biggest chance for Madrid to win 1 goal ahead MU.
Well another bets:
0-1 @ 11.00 - Bwin
1-2 @ 9.00 - Bwin
2-3 @ 20.00 - ******
Fantastic. Thanks Nani! If you weren't sent off, maybe Modric will not IN to replace Arbeloa.

1.27 + 8.00 = 9.27.

I hope it could be continues with tonight's match.

PSG vs Valencia.
I'm going to pick 1st half 1x2 on PSG @ 2.620

Simple, just because Valencia never win any 1st half in their last 6 away matches. And i don't think they gonna make it at Parc des Princes.

it's probably an automated thing based on server response, same as full tilt being in "routine maintence" for over a year and a half.

Re: Football (soccer) betting thread

Man Utd v Chelsea

Last 6 Head To Head Results

Chelsea 5-4 Man Utd
Chelsea 2-3 Man Utd
Chelsea 3-3 Man Utd
Man Utd 3-1 Chelsea
Man Utd 2-1 Chelsea
Man Utd 2-1 Chelsea

Both Teams To Score @ 1.67 (Ladbrokes) is a very big price and should be considered the main bet.

Over 3.5 Goals @ 2.7 (Ladbrokes) holds quite a lot of appeal however I believe that it would show a similar long term ROI to the BTTS bet with added variance.

Chelsea lost 0-1 On Thursday in Bucharest with Benayoun starting in place of Mata and Bertrand starting in place of Cole. Mata will play a crucial role in this match and will provide the most attacking threat and can be had at odds of 4.33 (Ladbrokes) to score anytime and Chelsea will want to defend their title against the runaway league leaders who suffered a controversial defeat to Real Madrid and as so often happens with Man Utd when they lose a match their next opponents concede a few goals as Ferguson likes to get the confidence back in his team immediately. Man Utd have won 4 of the last 6 H2H encounters and can be had at odds of 2.5 to win & over 2.5 match goals @ 2.5 (Bet365). After Rooney starting on the bench against Real Madrid you can be guaranteed that he will be the most dedicated player on the pitch and will be out to prove a point to Ferguson - Rooney to score anytime 2.38 (Stan James) - Rooney First Goalscorer 6.0 (Stan James) - Rooney Anytime Wincast 3.5 (BetFred)

There is an interesting Money Back Special from Paddy Power - "If Wayne Rooney scores the last goal in this match, we will refund all losing First Goalscorer, Last Goalscorer, Correct Score & Scorecast singles on the game."

Re: Football (soccer) betting thread

Hey guys,

i am really curious about how hard it is to actually make money betting on sports (or soccer for that matter).

I did some betting myself years ago , but it was just for fun.

It just seems so hard because you have to beat the bookies right?

How many % of betters do really make money long-term?

Thanks for responses and gl everybody

Re: Football (soccer) betting thread

Schalke 04 vs Galatasaray
This gonna be a good advantage for the host as they succeed with a draw results and play as visitor.

They had Huntelaar, Howedes, Afellay, Draxler & Farfan which is more scoring chances than Drogba, Yilmaz, Sneijder.

I hope they will qualified to the next round.

My picks
Schalke 04 -1.00 @ 2.12 (******)

Show your best guys!

If I bet $100 at +125 do I get 125 back, or 125+100 original stake?

Re: Football (soccer) betting thread

Barcelona v AC Milan
1st leg owned by Milan as host.
This time they will have their clash as the visitors.

And i thought Milan have already know how to break Barcelona's tiki-taka play style. They answered it by 2-0 won at home.

See how it goes this time and i will go with

AC Milan +1.75 at 1.95 (******) or 1.943 (pinnacle). You decide!
