Posting a bit of background is not the same as shamelessly stealing someone else his content. At least add your sources. He is trying to pass of other people's work as his own. Stealing is not the same as contributing.

Yeah it's not about whether it's useful or not, it's about whether it's OK or not. If you can link to where it's posted, do that. If you can't because it's behind a paywall, then you are stealing.
