Jinair vs Samsung, winner makes the finals, loser missed the finals (Samsung could technically miss the finals but only if MVP beat KT by a larger margin and Sbenu beat SKT)

CJ vs Prime in an 'oops we forgot to make the finals this round so let's 3-0 Prime' for CJ

Sbenu vs SKT: Means nothing to SKT, but Sbenu need to beat the top team to make the finals

MVP vs KT; MVP need to win to make the finals (could still miss finals if Sbenu win, but are favs to make finals if they win)

Will be interesting to see if CJ and SKT rest players in meaningless matches, same with KT, will they field a full strength roster? They have 2nd locked up with how results have fallen so their match is meaningless to them

Cj can still make it out. If sbenu loses against SKT1 and MVP against KT. If Cj wins against Prime we have those 3 and the loser of jin air sasmung tied for 4th place. I think then the match indicator decides.

Had sOs @2.35 and thought it was an awesome spot. He had a good opportinuty to 4-0 Byul if he would learn to focus the hatchery and recall.

MarineLord +249 against Hyun. I think is a pretty good spot, I give MarineLord a 35-40% chance of winning.

PtitDrogo -1.5 +144 against Zanster. Although Zanster is an underrated decent player, his ZvP is not as good as his other two matches and PtitDrogo's PvZ is very strong. Drogo ended last season with about an 80% winratio against zerg playing mostly top GM players.

Great comeback from MarineLord. I'll take him over Jaedong if the odds are +240 or higher. But I have no idea how they will open.

And yeah playing on new maps can be tricky, we already had many upsets with Lilbow beating Rain and Hyun (second one not really an upset imo), Lambo beating Demuslim 2-0, MarineLord beating Hyun and Jaedong, Huk beating Snute and Ryung and PtitDrogo beating Ryung as well.

So far for the ro8 I'm waiting for the fanboys to bet on Jaedong, if lilbow reaches +110 I will bet on him but I'm not very confident on the odds moving that much.

Demuslim losing to anyone is not really an upset though.

Marinelord beating Hyun was not a huge shocker either, sure he was a dog, but Hyun is not really that good, his roach/hydra ZvT style sucks. Outside of beating foreigners in ZvP, he is far from a solid korean.

Snute is just horrible nowadays, not sure whats up with that. First he barely beats Daishi (who took a big break from sc2), and then loses to the retired semi-player/caster HuK.

Ryung's TvP is just sad, i was super happy about snatching Parting -1.5 @1.71 against him (closed @1.4)

Ye I know some were not real upsets but all of the lines I named were over +250 (can't remember Ryung - Drogo tbh). Homestory Cups are always very profitable since they invite a lot of fan favourites who are not very good at the game anymore.

Not sure if it was the right decision, if Parting will fall apart against the early zerg agression once again i will be annoyed for missing that value.

Did life throw game 1 vs alive? Line for Game 1 suddenly jumped from -340 ish to -110 for Life and he ended up losing. Pinnacle also refunded all bets for that match.

For map 4 i saw the odds for alive jump from below 4 to 6.70 (+570.00). This map got also refunded.
