Another thought I had about the possible match fixing.
Even so its quite unlikely. Are we sure that the matches are not broadcasted delayed, lets say by 15 minutes?

Wouldn't we have heard of that? Kespa even addressed the minor tourney stream delay surely their live ones arent on delay. If so its obviously that due to all the 'fixed' matches being map 1 or a bo1

I don't think they are though

I think i'm taking a break from esports betting until this is addressed, at least on every match including a player who has been involved in a game I found suspicious

Took a look. There are a few proleague spots I like, but i'm scared to bet anything right now until at least Pinnacle addressed the last potential match fixing spot

Also looks like San is in action for the first time since the you know what happened

I don't think there is a reason to put delay on "offline" tournaments and also if they did the live audience would bet with their smartphones with a huge advantage.

WCS about to start for today I have Hydra -1.5 -123 and ShowTime -1.5 +136. I will post live bets in case I make them.

wasnt hydra -1.5 around -190 yesterday? smonka says he got -1.5 at -123 and then morrow wins outright lol. i know i popped in this thread previously with my doubts about match fixing but now with what ive seen in the past week in both gsl and this hydra match makes me rethink all of it

yes Hydra -1,5 was availible @-123 ealier but dropped to -190 later on and closed at about -180

I don't wanna get too paranoid but I'm going to add Hydra to the list of players who I'm not going to bet on again. It is known that his team owner bets on SC2 and also I remember reading something about Hydra and Effort leaving korea/retiring because their CJ coaches thought they were matchfixing.

Going to play devils advocate and point out that if he was throwing, it was a pretty damn risky throw, his roach attack in g2 could've ended the game right there.

I just dont think it was that calculated to do a roach timing after being up 1 game, anticipating Morrow barely holding it off.

I only saw the last match. Very surprising. Morrow recently admitted that he had problems getting high on the ladder beeing around rank 50 gm a lot. I actually didn't even consider him one of the better europeans. But not every surprising result has to be because of match fixing. Easy to say for me, I didn't bet on that one.

I agree with your points, and I actually watch Morrow's stream and he just played exactly the same builds, so I guess second map was an attempt of counterbuild by Hydra which Morrow defended pretty well.

I know it's just because I lost what I thought was a pretty good bet, but I won't feel confident betting on his games again, that's all I'm saying.

Lets see if hydra wins his next two series miraculously or if he just has a off day. I think if showtime advances first which is very likely, it should be a walk over for hydra. That would be quite convenient for him.

Not everything is a throw, upsets happen. Unless it's accompanies by suspicious betting line movement it's safe to assume a match is legit

I expected Hydra to win too but I mean he's pretty bad for a Korean and lost 2-1 not the end of the world and from what I saw the steam was on Hydra (didnt catch the end lines though as taking a small break from betting other than the Welmu bet I already had vs huk)

iAsonu is a freaking ****** i swear, what the **** was that game.

If he wasnt completely brain dead he would've won the series, he had g1 and g3, and managed to throw both of them.

That was the worst zerg gameplay i've seen in year. Free econ and saturated all bases for as long as he wanted, he masses 200/200 of slow Hydras and does nothing with them. This was beyond ******ed. He is pure garbage.

Weird spot w Morrow vs Showtime. Showtime is 8-0 lifetime (1-0 recent) but Morrow is a fav in the MU formwise and just beat hydra - I put a tiny sweat on at +139 but im not making any official plays until this match fixing thing is sorted one way or another.

I didnt see the hydra vs morrow games so cant comment, I know hydra opened at -4xx, got steamed to -7xx where did he close? How did the games look
