I did

Yoda opened with cloaked banshees, Bunny opened with a perfect counter build - faster CC with 3 turrets + viking, made a raven later.

After doing 0 dmg with banshees and seeing 3 turrents + raven Yoda kept making banshees and just feeding them for 1-2 worker kills per banshee and just died later to a faster 3rd and way stronger army.

Its also interesting and somewhat telling that Bunny was not chosen MVP, they sent Byul instead, which makes no sense at all. Defeating Terror in the opening match as a strong fav does not earn you MVP for a day.

It only makes sense if they want to bury that match without getting any attention to it as soon as possible.


Edit: Think i will stick with dota2 betting from now on. At least their community and tourney organizers take matchfixing very seriously, and by seriously i dont mean teamliquids "seriously" aka "as long as players dont admit it and we dont have a videotape proving it, they are innocent, everything is fine, protect the players no matter what"

Byul-Terror opened +225 for Terror, ~24h before the start moved to +170, then went crazy about 10 mins before the start, dropping to -120 for Terror, and closing at about even money i think, or maybe +110 for Terror

Yoda-Bunny opened +120 for Bunny i think? About ~24h before the match moved just a tiny bit, maybe to +110 or something, not sure. Then right about when Byul's line was going nuts dropped to -120 or -130, and then about 5 mins before the start got absolutely hammered to -260 for Bunny, closed at about -140.

Yoda gets dropped from the game, and after about 10 minute break of them trying to load from a replay Bunny blindly makes 3 turrents without scouting the starport with the addon. Combined with the line move for that match, i'd say chances of something shady going on are pretty high.

Unless i am missing something there, didnt really have time to analyze the Vod too much.

So looks like Pinnacle wont be canceling said match. Oh well. I am really done with starcraft, there is too much shady **** going on without any signs of investigation or anything like that.

After the couple of voids, i expect that matchfixers will become much more carefull with triggering pinnacle's alarm bells. And who knows how many many matches went unnoticed already.

I wonder if its possible that the match fixers used Terror/Byul as a fake to draw attention away from Bunny/Yoda - lose 20k on Terror to win 50k on Bunny or whatever without it being cancelled

Proleague lines up, but Pinnacle decided not to offer any lines for matches that include Prime players.

I would not call it shady, just natural. When you have a tournament rule of 10 min max pause with admins forcing you to play it out 4v5 or 3v5 and players who are stupid enough to protect their IP = it will result in ddosers printing money as long as it works.

All the bets always stand too. Its just group of people betting on heavy dogs and ddosing the favs. Pretty standard stuff.

I asked pinnacle if odds would be up for that match and if nott whether it was related to matchfixing. Got a response that no odds will be offered for prime vs samsung this week and they will not be releasing any statement as to why that is.

Nearly fired Jinair and sOs and Stats, decided against all 3, which was a pity.

Would have also faded Prime hard, weird Pinnacle didn't offer that match with no explanation

Could be value fading Samsung in upcoming weeks against the good teams given their record this round is solid so far

CJ matches line up well for them today, the only path to victory I see for MVP (as much as MVP is underrated at the moment) being likely is Losira+Yonghwa+Ace and Bbyong's in solid TvP form and TvZ is Skyhighs best

I may take CJ straight up if they get down towards the -200 region, not laying current price though.

Happy with Byul -137 vs Marineking, I mean he beat Innovation and Marineking is terrible at everything that isnt TvP

In the other series, Hack's TvP looking good atm but his price isnt as long as I expected, the last two games are flips and the first two are lean SKT and the Ace is lean SKT as well but i'm not going to lay -372 wait and see where line ends up I guess

Something still weird about this game. Steam on Byul is not enough to make me suspicious, but the fact that he went for that risky weird cheese against MKP is.

I see no reason for him to cheese, he is probably cutting his own winrate a lot by doing that.

Also Marineking scouted it then did nothing - that said he may have missed it on the minimap

But yeah Marineking is in my anti-team in FPL for a reason

I felt Byuls prob -200 on that heavily Z favoured map vs out of form MKP so the line itself sharpened but the match itself was unusual

I think we can probably chalk it up to Marineking being a tilting emotional basketcase who sucks at TvZ and TvT

Was really close to firing CJ and CJ -1.5 and didnt which is annoying. I'm also tempted to fire SKT -1.5 given it's two flips and two heavy lean SKT games which is similar to the CJ MVP match

CJ drastically improved this round, could compete with SKT and Jinair at this rate in finals. KT may not even make it they'll have to fight with MVP over the final spot despite KT's obviously superior roster
