I remember back at the time when zest was winning this GSL he always put out Flash instead of Zest. Now Zest over Stats ? Really?

You've obviously never seen KT never play stats ever in an ace match no matter what

They always played Flash, then alternated between Flash/Zest, then always played Zest once Flash got terrible. Now i'd imagine the'll alternate between Zest and Life with their current roster.

I think they might have played TY once and pretty sure they've literally never played Stats

JinAir's coach is solid and plays Ace on merit. It was sOs/Maru when they were the best, now it's any combo of their core five depending on who the expected opponent is.

MVP play Marineking too much when their opponents ace isn't consistently Protoss, but they picked Losira this week. It should be Losira or Yonghwa atm.

Prime, does it matter? Creator or Yoda depending whether you think opponent is a protoss

Samsung send Dear mostly which is generally good and occasionally Solar.

SKT send Innovation which is obvious

KT coach is a basket case sometimes who survives on strength of his roster

CJ coach is incredibly lucky imo, often makes mistakes with ace player but they won a fairly high % of the time in r1, so maybe not, but I think he just ran over EV

Startale coach we haven't seen post-life, so will be interesting but was generally not a fan eg. when they played San over Life against Prime even though he won

Kinda think herO will get the job done here. Zest hasn't been at his best in a while and while it's still fairly close to a flip i'd have sent Stats as the KT coach. with likely aces of Zest/Life though herO was the right play for CJ

Well i think the gasless style life played was very smart. He played to the map or the player there and was in a good position. Did he actually scout the armory? I only remember that he saw the banshee tech.

I think he has ~50% solar but whoever wins between MMA and TY shouldn't be a threat. Also to consider that he isn't going to IEM or has pro league matches. No jet lag for the finals etc, full focus on GSL.

Solar is a ZvP crusher who seems to be returning to form. I agree parting is a favourite over TY or MMA (although as I have MMA at 81-1 to win Code S i'm hoping he brings it)

Don't mind the Parting to win Code S bet as his PvT is solid, Innovation is probably his most likely grand final opponent and he should have a softer than average semi final matchup

The only problem is... I kinda think Solar's going to beat Parting because he chokes a lot in Code S and Solar's form in the MU is better

If you think Parting is +100 or better against Solar though it's a good bet

At it stands I have three small dead bets to win Code S (Dream, Rain and Yoda) and three alive from the r16 (MMA 81-1, Innovation 6-1, Rogue 20-1 or thereabouts)

So far tonight I effectively have a bet on MMA due to my future to win Code S on him. Lean TY @ current lines, but the MMA who beat Innovation will win if he shows up.

As much as i'd like to see Parting do well i'm leaning Solar in the other match although Parting has a much better chance of winning Code S if he wins.

i won't take a 50:50 on either parting or solar. Solar seems to be back in shape but he hasn't played any really good toss recently except SoS who did a very strange all in.
Parting has 56% pvz this year
Solar a bid higher but with wins against players like Arthur and Billowy which i wouldn't count.
I think i won't bet on those 2 gsl matches with those odds.

your rogue bet is still alive which is nice. I think he is very good but after I saw his bracket i abandoned the idea on betting on him winning the GSL. 20:1 still very nice, it's 12.7 or smth now.

On Ty, i think he always has been some kind of a TvT specialist. But I don't like his overall form. MMA form is hard for me to evaluate. He has shown some very good games but also lost to fantasy 0:2.

MMA vs TY is impossible to cap because both guys are so inconsistent - at their best they're both on par with Maru and Innovation. TY plays his best more often, but MMA showed it most recently in the r16 crushing Dark and Innovation to advance

In theory TY is probably the play but I would never touch this one @ current prices with TY being a small fav because who knows what version of both guys you get. TY lost to Guilty and MMA beat Innovation not long ago. MMA also lost to Fantasy and TY beat a pile of good Terrans recently too. Anything is possible in this one.

In Solar vs Parting; both have had inconsistent form, Parting's considered the better overall player but Solar specialises a bit more in the matchup.

I've decided i'm going to go with Solar -108 today and make it official. I think he's about -115 to -120, not an amazing spot but worth firing.

I expect him to lose in the semi final but he matches up well with Parting. Gonna bet that Solar can counter the soultrain. Parting isn't the machine he used to be in PvZ really

I think Parting has a better chance to beat MMA or TY than Solar probably, but it's the soft half of the bracket any of them could do it. I just think Solar's ZvP > Parting's PvZ atm
