I like Denver to win the coin toss because of Mannings ability to move objects by concentrating.

They literally didn't play against a decent defense all year. They beat SD in the playoffs and just rolled NE (and they aren't all that good). (KC was pretty good this year actually)

Seattle played a harder schedule and has the same record at 13-3.

Defense wins championships. Good defenses make good offenses look bad. Seattle started the game down 10 points to a very good SF team and still won by a TD. Seattle should be favored in this game, that's simply the truth. If Kapernick didn't have a few decent runs and the Seahawks didn't fumble early the niners game would have been ugly.

I'll give it to Manning and his offense, they are really good, but if you think they are going to go out and score all over Seattle, well... lol.

I'm taking Seattle and it's not even close.
disagree with bolded, but I'm taking hawks and the points where I can get them. Will double down if the weather is nasty

Correct. As long as you don't count the 49 points against the 7th overall DVOA defense (Bal), 41 against the 6th (NYG), and 27 & 35 against the 9th (KC). Lol

http://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/teamdef

Maybe the other games were against bad defenses, but they had only had 2 in the 20s (20, 28), then had 6 in the 30s, a 45, and 3 in the 50s. Can't help who you play, but it's not easy to put up those numbers.

This is some solid first-level analysis right here.

You guys are going overboard with how great Seattle's defense is this year. The NFL is an offensive league and most teams are built for offense. Just because Seattle has been the best defense this year doesn't mean they will be great in the commercialbowl. A defensive player is apt to psychological mistakes in a huge game. I don't think there's one player on Seattle that has attended this media circus before. Football is 90% mental when two teams are closely matched. Peyton Manning is a master of making a defense make mistakes.

I know cool beans right?
Does anyone put any stock into the fact that Seattle struggled against the AFC, they crushed Jacksonville, but lost to Indy, won in overtime with Houston, and barely beat the titans.

This will be a tough match up as Seattle hasn't once gone up against a high powered offense, and Denver hasn't come close to playing anyone with a defense.

The only bet I like right now is the Under it seems. If it's really windy and cold I think ill really fall in love with the under but who wouldn't ?

I'd say based on Shermans interview Sea definitely has the edge in motivation. That motivation +d-fense = easy game. Willi33756654 dropping knowledge as usual.

Definitely not worth it unless you've never deposited before so you don't have to pay the 4.9% deposit fee.

Show me the way, brother. If you have some really deep analysis, please, share it with me. I'm more than willing to learn things and even change my bet when need be.

That being said, we can bet 1000 on the game. We can both escrow before the game and agree whoever wins the bet will tip get 5-10% to whoever holds it?

I'm more than willing to put my money where my mouth is. Are you?

Haven't listened to one word of ESPN or talk radio in months. The public is on Denver 3 to 1. How could you possibly think I'm taking some sort of public opinion side?

The bet is out there for you. If you want it, then bet it. Not a big deal either way.

Disclaimer : I've never once said I'm a pro or a sharp bettor/poker player. Never. I've always said I'm a noob. And if you think I give a flying **** what people think about me, then lol at you.

The bet is there for ya though. We can do it for 1000, 100, for 10 bucks. I'm simply saying I'm on Seattle. If that's "douche', then whatever. You called me out, so put the money up. If not, then like I said, give me your analysis and we can discuss it since it's "first level analysis".

So it's your position that "the public" moved the line from pk/+1 to -2/2.5 in the first 12 hours or so?
