rick,

Just take the stuff you do for large entries in DFS and apply it to golf and vice versa.

I think there are some really interesting ideas on DFS for estimating usage rates based on historical similarities. (People tend to keep doing the same **** their models spit out or biasing them in similar manners.) Then using that to help punch in your own optimal lineups. Like what is there a situation where you should be holding Lamar Jackson? Maybe if he is just that much better than everyone else? But then again are you looking to chop something infinite ways or scoop it? Same way why betting every line that is the most off in a pick em contest is a terrible idea. Prob 20 dudes out of 100 are gonna be doing something really dumb like that (assuming you're playing not complete idiots.)

Hope you got some ideas from this. I definitely have clarified a few ideas I've had with this little chat.

Timo was a mistake, I meant to take Couture. I would not bet Timo at that price but it stands as posted.

Please name names, I love calling out bs touts
https://sports.yahoo.com/dailyfantas...3284/103067479 check out the bheals account here, dude makes a living as a DFS tout and yet plays that monstrosity, I get how some people love game stacks in cash, but including both goalies? Guy is decent at basketball but objectively one of the worst hockey players I've ever seen

Like tony niehaus just implied to me he was a online crusher over twitter on poker so I Google him to see if I know his account and lol he was a poker dealer... Not knocking him for that but c'mon man, don't imply you're a poker end boss when you worked as an assistant room manager at a tiny poker room in Colorado... He's solid at DFS so there's no reason for him to imply that as well as he doesn't need any faked credentials

Anyone here know David stetler in real life? If so reach out to the guy, he has been having a month long public meltdown on Twitter and now his wife is joining in on it.

Claiming proprietary ownership of a 19th century algorithm. Wants the guy who "stole" it from him to kill himself. This is all a follow up to yelling at his customers who didn't give his optimizer a shout-out. Also thinks nothing wrong with doxxing his customers and storing all the projections they upload.

His mental breakdown aside, I never understood why anyone would use a public optimizer that kept a record of your projections. The insider trading potential knowing what players both the burrito brothers were on and what there actual exposures would be... That's got to be worth quite a lot to the right person.

rick,

This is what I'm trying to fight! So many free pieces of software. I can get an optimal noncorrelated lineup using off the shelf projections just as well as anyone else. (So can literally anyone who is not a full on idiot, basically anyone here except Poogs.)

I can appreciate his hustle. Dude is clearly angling via insider trading his brackets. It is great. I'd prob consider doing that if making 200k a year cheating people seemed fun.

timo did nada afterall but still got me that assist and +/- points, yesterday was fantastic to me, at one point had 5 of top 7 lines but then hutchinson blew up and i was heavy on him, swept cash and finished with only one lineup in the top 10 in gpp

still a +3k is nice, even if it could have very easily been a +6k day

yes it's my twitter. i'm getting into the social media game. i got 10 followers ! I figured making money now a days doesn't mean anything if you're not respected in the twitter gambling community so I'm trying to increase my influencer score by just tweeting at huge social media people and thanking them for my win even though they didn't do anything. Just trying to get those RETWEETS

The four day ago was my first entry, just did one lineups, and magically won. It was spur of the moment since I got there ten minutes before the game went off. Thursday was my first day doing it "for real" and doing the mass multi entry thing.

but thinking about quitting it because half my mentions are hate and people making fun of me. There's too much hate on twitter.

and stuff i don't understand because i'm too old

i think i'm too thin skinned to survive in this generations social media

if you don't believe it's me because I don't have one of those checkmarks I changed my bio to "I love TheNonPareil"

BTW if anyone has any tips on how to become an expert and influencer please let me know

I'm thinking about putting DATA SCIENTIST as my job description because that's a hot buzz term and gives you instant expertise.

What about changing my name to something like (sports related) GURU

Also it seems popular to put #yanggang in their bios but i don't know what that means. is it some exclusive sports betting club?

Anyone that is anyone has their own podcast. So who wants to start one? We can ramble for 100 minutes with inconsistent audio levels and talk over each other to make it authentic

I personally don't walk that path but my time in startups I know the way. I do it all anonymously because I don't want Microsoft or some other companies googling me before contracting for consulting and seeing my name intertwined with "gambling"

I'd be happy to walk you through the basics either through pm or here in the thread. First of all, post that username

Try qualifying for one or two of the live finals and do some self-marketing around that and just keep winning. You already have a PNL of $300K+ on the year in DFS; that is already ahead of 90% of the sharp field. You'll be getting interviews with all the different podcasts out there in no time if you continue to win. Not a bad idea to go on this path since you're already sharper than most if not 99.9% of the people doing DFS already, might as well have some fun with it.

Lol I actually do believe you, I did think there was a chance you were trying to troll somebody but wondered if it was actually you.

The $5 stuff made me laugh while max entering. A+

Pretty amazing, you clearly are the greatest at this stuff. It actually makes me really happy you just dunk on these fantasy guys that think they are so good. Like rickroll is saying, so many of those touts are insufferable on twitter, would love to watch you wreck them.

that guy seems crazy based on other tweets, but what can you do. just don't engage is the best.

nba showdown seems tougher than NFL. tied for first in a 4k to first $10 yesterday with 49 people

currently tied for first in the 25k ATL/HOU with 80 other people. only put 5 lineups in and might lose money
