my buddy told me about this site about a week ago, and he specifically told me about it because of sharkys locks. i checked out last weeks posts with sharkys "likes" (no lock) and his records. not gonna lie, i was impressed. i mean, someone giving out consistent picks for FREE? count me in. as i read the posts today, after last weeks lock, i see people talking ****. come on, is that really necessary? nobody made you play bama, it was just a suggestion from a reputable source. i took it. so what, i lost one. not the first, and def not the last. sharky, i know you dont need anyone backing you up, but i got your back. im gonna roll with your locks as long as you post them, and i hope you keep posting them. thanks again sharky. let the haters hate, but ill bet theyll take any lock you post next week.

I think we all kind of knew that, but when things are going well, we don't ask questions. hey sharky, i watched the entire game a couple weeks ago bama vs. tennesse and i think bama was lucky to win the game by so much. bama´s offensive line was a joke, and their defense wasn´t great, and they made a few big plays to start the second half. that being said, they still won the game by thirty without getting any turnovers and not scoring points in the first half when they were 1st and goal. but anyway, bama didnt look good to me and im not surprised that a good team beat them now.

anyway, you are the expert and i bet with you this week and i´ll keep betting with you. you record is very impressive. i like it when you guess the lines beforehand though and compare to the real lines it gives me more confidence. keep up the picks, your record of 13 and 2 last year, and 4 and 1 this year, or whatever it is, is sweet.

I capped a lot of the games last year and i think i did it a couple times this year.Ive been busy trying to play a gazillion poker tourneys .I have been capping the games but not publicly and the lines have been really close.I capped the bama /miss state game @ bama -9 and it came out at 14 - . Something seems fishy about this.I cant seem to pull the trigger on it and i might be a little snakebit after losing my SUPER SUPER LOCK

I will have to agree.It was my favorite play but you have to know its a sporting event and sometimes teams can play better or worse than their potential.I think lsu played a really great game of defense .They had bama out of their element the whole time.

The bama /lsu game has me confused . Lsu looked sooo bad on offense! They had like 2-3 break away plays that sealed it up for them.Their defense is really good but how did that same defense give up all those yards to Auburn??? The only thing i can think of is lsu was not prepared enough for auburns option style running game compared to alabama more traditional running game.

Good analysis. Sometimes its easier just to forgot the losses, but I like that you went back and tried to figure out where it could have gone wrong.

Hey sharky one thing I tend to like to do is check to see how the public is betting as well. Last weekend bama had that -6.5 line and the public pounded it hard (over 80%), but it never went to -7 at all until just before the game.

Usually I would expect the -7 earlier than that and even -7.5 before kickoff. So I myself was slightly worried because of this (I'd rather be against the public on a lock than with them). The books set the line at -6.5 and got the public bets and raped everyone who ATS'd ML'd or Teased that game.

This week as you mention the line came out -14 but you capped it -9. Well the public is still on bama's nuts on this one (it's early, but still just over 72%). Yet the line is falling to -13.5, even -13 at some places.

Variance is usually higher than people expect and I'm not here to pretend I know a lot about this stuff, but just thought I'd share with you what I saw.
