Ok one more ''like '' pick for the day.Im not a big fan of larry smith at all.He sucked last year and he will probably suck again this year so my next like pick of the day is Northwestern -3 and a half.Good luck everyone !

Ok here it is folks. My first LOCK of the week of the 2010 football season.Go ahead its safe to bet your farms.AUBURN -3 against mississippi state .
09-06-2010 , 06:02 PM
Good luck with that one
09-06-2010 , 06:05 PM
just went down to -2....whats up with that
09-06-2010 , 06:51 PM
It opened most everywhere at -2.5, so -3 was a raw deal for a lock anyway.

Well picking against the Thursday night SEC home dog out of the gate would not be my lock of choice.

Does anyone have a stat for the SEC home dog over the last few years? I could be wrong but I've heard several times that you could blind bet the sec home dog for the year and be above 500.

Thanks GS

I will also throw out my like pick of the week Lsu -10 against sorry vanderbilt

Yeah I'm hesitant because Auburn's defense blew absolute nuts the other day and Arkansas State put like 360 yards and 26 points on them. Meanwhile, MSU blew an offensive load all over Memphis' chin.

I was at the Auburn v ASU game. ASU had a much better offense than you would think a small D1 school would have.

Auburn's offense was truly impressive though. They could have ran the score up a lot more if they would have ran in between the tackles. Their O-line was destroying ASU's and they would still run a lot of plays that weren't necessary (like a practice to get those plays better).

Auburn also rotated a lot of people in and out on defense, so I'm thinking they were trying out defensive schemes and how well certain players played, I'm betting they will be better against an SEC team.

That being said Auburn is over-rated year after year so we will see. I like the pick.

I was also at the auburn game and your right arkansas state did not look all that bad. They have a pretty good qb and i thought he did well against auburn .They also scored one time bc auburn fumbled on their own 20 and the last field goal was bc auburn had their 2cnd and third string in.Auburn could have also scored more but on the last drive they put all there back up players on offense and just ran the clock out so the score was misleading.

I have a couple more like picks and yes its another away team I like georgia + 3 @south carolina and i also like arkansas state at ul -laf + 1 and half.

Lock of the week AUBURN -3 @ miss state( although i turned my bet in at -2)

likes LSU -10 @ vandy
Ga +3 @ south carolina
ark st +1 and half @ ul -laf

Ul laf beat ark state last year but im thinking this year is going to be a different story if ark state plays anything like they did against auburn!

alright, i got em at -2 too. gl to all us followers lol.

Canes most likely outright...+10 for insurance
09-08-2010 , 07:37 PM
GT -14 i just so jinxed it

whats the o/u on the utep-houston game going to be? 85?

I like Bama -11.5 alot....true freshman QB going into Tuscaloosa 2nd start of his career? Saban's blitz packages might cause some truly hilarious moments once Bama grabs the lead. I don't think Bama will have trouble doing work offensively, Trent Richardson is just as good as Ingram and I look for Julio to also have a huge game. Bama is for real once again and deserve the top spot in the polls, the depth is scary. Bama rolls 31-10
