Re: Buying Picks and Tout Discussion Thread (Should I Purchase Tips Discussed)

At the end of the day, sports gamblers risk $200 billion a year. The overwhelming majority of them make decisions based on gut feelings, and what the see on ESPN. making a decision, especially when the decision involves large sums of cash, based on some analysis is better than risking money based on no analysis. And based on what the average better loses, a mere $250 package up front is a good investment.

Nobody hates on poker coaches. Stay tuned for my diary.

This is easily the worst job I've ever had.

If you insist don't make a move until like August. That's when FB starts rolling. And top cons are raking in 10k checks for a weeks work. (Top cons) are all commission ONLY

What I did was a little dif. They paid me a flat 10/hr plus comm. and I would call up degens and sell (the big game) for peanuts.

After I opened them that's when the top cons would go into them. Cons get bout half of whatever they can con.

The games are basically just picked by whatever the salesman likes.
Why was this the worst job you ever had?

No clue which one to use. Pretty sure I don't have either of those.

Except the vast majority of people selling picks use no better analysis

Ya but a coach is actually teaching, and if he teaches you a theory, it won't be gone in 10 minutes after a line swings 30 points. I dunno, there's a pretty big gap.

I understand they have a bad reputation. I'm not here to win over the hearts and minds of losing gamblers. But as a salesman, a pretty damn good one, I want a slice of that $200 billion pie.

By the way, Money Talks got picked up. The season starts in like 2 weeks. The pilot was pretty badass.

I consider myself a master direct sales pro. A master. My fascination with sports service sales is the disease aspect of the customer....(I know it sounds satanic....)

Gambling is a compulsion. They want to say yes. I'm a young guy, 23 years old....I want my share of the American Dream. This is a legal path to the money I feel I'm capable of accumulating.

tout ops aren't about making clients money. its about conning every single dime you can get out of them (clearly ruining lives) in before degens gonna degen.

even the top cons making upwards of a quarter mill a year. theyre all straight up drunks, fire on $5 machines until they are busted. if these people are happy, why get ****faced constantly, while behaving like youre hellbent on giving back ALL of your ill gotten gains?

why did the job blow? go cold call 300 gamblers a day who have been hearing the same pitch since the 1980's. I wanna hang myself right now just thinking about it.

but, you claim to be a "sales beast" and if youre as big a sociopath as you claim to be. you will make a pile of cash.

I would venture to say the overwhelming majority of us wouldn't care to read a dairy about somebody taking advantage of helpless degens.

good luck

1. I have been very clear about being totally green about handicapping. I'm going to learn.

2. Maybe I am a sociopath. Capitalism.

3. Thanks for feedback.

Re: Buying Picks and Tout Discussion Thread (Should I Purchase Tips Discussed)

I could see how some would be interested. but I lived it for 8 months and it was ****ing disgusting

one of the top cons actually started his day off by yelling out "alright boys, lets ruin some ****ing lives"

you may think youre a top con. try taking a guy who you've taken 2-12 and have him shoot you a card for 15k. until you can do that. youre no top con.
