In General it is a real shady business full of scam artist and marginal gamblers constitutionally incapable of beating books. These guys sell lies and false hope to vulnerable people.

No reason to learn this business unless you plan on exposing them as the cheats and cons 95%+ of them are.

I consider Daytona week a partial break. Although I did put in some major work on the Olympic hockey, Go CANADA!

I used to work for a tout. I still have their number. Pm me if you want it. Fwiw it was the NUTLOW. Not sure how one could have "interest in the biz". It's remarkably scummy. But the top con artists were making like 250k. And this was in like 2010. Well after the "heyday". So if you're a strong salesman and even stronger sociopath. You can make a ****ing grip.

I know a guy in Vegas who's lock city on picks and is actually hiring new smart apprentices with sales backgrounds. Starting salary plus commission should clear 100k 1st year.

Someone's bitter. People take advice all the time. Stock advice, medical advice, relationship advice. People pay top dollar to better make decision based on expert advice. Sports betting is a multibillion dollar industry. If you're going to gamble you should take high percentage shots.

It's no more shady than anything else.

I've never once paid a tout a penny. If you're going to be one of the few in a thousand who actually give "expert" advice, more power to you, and good luck. but let's not pretend that 99%+ of them are "experts", they are scam artists.

And, no offense, really, but I doubt any legitimate sports betting adviser, if there was such a thing, would even consider hiring you. Maybe go get a mathematics degree and then you might have chance. They don't need monkeys to hit the phone or go door to door. anyone that would is a scam.

If you are only capable of selling things. I'd advise selling something else. Go sell cars or something.

This is easily the worst job I've ever had.

If you insist don't make a move until like August. That's when FB starts rolling. And top cons are raking in 10k checks for a weeks work. (Top cons) are all commission ONLY

What I did was a little dif. They paid me a flat 10/hr plus comm. and I would call up degens and sell (the big game) for peanuts.

After I opened them that's when the top cons would go into them. Cons get bout half of whatever they can con.

The games are basically just picked by whatever the salesman likes.
