To say all sports touts are scammers is not true (there are some legit touts)...a better word would be low life or immoral person. Scamming, stealing is something you can be arrested for. Again, you don't ever see sports touts getting arrested. Scumba*, low life, piece of crap, immoral person, etc. Are more true.

I was curious if anyone had worthwhile advice as far as picking a credible handicapper. I have been tossing around the idea of buying a picks service. I am mainly looking to bet all sports. Any recommendations is greatly appreciated. Good luck everyone.

Try tailing some people here. There are several knowledgeable, winning posters who share their picks without charge. So not only can you get picks without paying a dime, the equity of those picks will far exceed anything you'll get from a tout

Pretty gross comeback for RAS tbh had been making the big money fading their steam all last month on totals, finally came back to bite me with these weird tournament game totals.

I guess if they hit 53.5% on the release line and you get 3-4 extra points on the other side that's kind of the easiest no brainer in sports betting, it's like steam betting but easier and the books don't hate you. A lot easier to just handicap the games though.

Buchdahl has a work on this topic. which I just finished. RAS espouses a lot of issues that are clear red flags which he mentions.

The most obvious is the rampant loss chasing they engage in. Or the lack of normalization between limits. Or the bullshit proprietary "vetting" that frequently inflates their record. Or the blatant and admitted front running.

Would they be releasing almost 500 picks under their previous arrangement? Why did they suddenly have such a massive uptick in picks/ (last year was around 200, the losing 2014 season was the most they ever released previously with under 400 still, we're at 490 this year.)

They are less sleazy than many others (which Ed points at all the time), but that is like comparing the relative brutality of murderers.

This is the worst. Count $500 market same as $5,000 market. Obviously he loses badly at the 5k market too.

I had a guy this year who was doing that with NHL Props. After every loss more bets and higher amounts.

A few weeks ago I noticed our old friend Rick J was on a 7 month, +~50 unit heater. Decided to tail his every play. Currently -12.2 units after 3.5 weeks. That's what I get for buying picks Amirite! Do I keep playing tho???
