What tricks do they use? I always thought they were the one and only legit service out there (front running stuff not-withstanding)

Actually now that I think about it, I used them for WNBA 3 years ago I think, and I remember on more than half their plays, bet online would move their side like a full minute before they released, so someone was front running back then too.

Glad I didnt buy it this year I would be so pissed. Sunk cost, absolute torture to get money down, and now on top of it they hit 38% lol wtf

I remember trying to get down on RAS many times over the last few years and having 3-4 seconds to get down at most before the lines moved. This year I was planning on betting anti-RAS at the top of the line move, and would have been printing $ so far were it not that they changed the release times, so I no longer have access to the picks.

Pretty much all of their 1.5/2 unit plays over the years have been on markets with lower limits (2Hs, extra games, etc) that are impossible to get down on. It's disingenuous to prop your record up with garbage like that when you claim to be marketing towards serious bettors.

All that said, are any 'serious bettors' still playing their releases? i have no clue if lines are moving on air or $$.

I just got some of those sympathy credits and figured id see if he can break this slump.

If I recall correctly, both of you handicap NCAAB. Just talking spreads, if he is beating close by about 1.5 points on average, and you think he is roughly breakeven at the lines he posts, are you monitoring his plays and hammering back the ones that you think he got wrong? If the lines he takes are breakeven and his minions move it another 1.5 points, that gives the other side about a 4% edge. Somethings gotta give.

I don't subscribe or anything, but yea, I wind up fading his action a couple times a week. Most of his "CLV" comes from totals.

Probably already been said 100's of times here, but Right Angle Sports (RAS) is a consistent winner, but the plays are very time sensitive and they make spreads jump fast which obviously neutralized most or all of the value. They do college BB and football, and are affiliated (the same people?) as Hoop's Edge who seem to have a slight edge on WNBA picks.

RAS is 82-84 -11.90 49.40% this year and charging about 7k for a full year of picks. Stway away.

There are lots of reasons not to pay for RAS but this argument isn't compelling. Surely you've had worse results over larger samples and you're still a winning player.

I run worse than that every week.

I agree there are many better other reasons not to buy them. But they are targeting more recrational bettors with their bs credit system and that's the type of information they look at.

Has anyone purchased a season long package of sports picks? What was your experience? I've seen them as low as $800 from reputable sites. Seems like there could be value with the right package.

Yeah, RAS days of being the cream of the crop are over. We saw that with NCAA hoops last year. Their new credit system is used to pwn recreational players who chase bets and love winning streaks of 5 games. I'm sure it works good for Ed but I can't imagine any clients liking that system.

I've bought and followed prolly hundreds of services over the last 15+ years. Dr Bob and RAS were both insanely good when it was easier to win. They are still both honest but not as good as before.

Right now for baseball I am following Dr H. He has crushed the last few years. Honest with his records and results. I haven't got 1 sales email from him despite his great results. Another guy I think is really good is NBA Guru. He works for Dr Bob. His plays have been amazing the last few years and I think it will continue. steviey NHL picks have made me a ton of money too.

For football I will be following Procap sports. I think he used to work for RAS maybe. He only does NCAA football over/unders. his plays move lines but i don't have any trouble getting his number. worth a look, he is very cheap too compared to some others.

They aren't any good. They try to present themselves as math guys, but their plays are graded against ****ty lines and the sportsbooks don't care who they are betting. I would stay away.

I'm hoping to be able to provide some insight this football season from a betting perspective. Poker is my first love but lately sports betting has been my main income. Any questions just asked me I would love to help. I can provide opinions and insight on basically any service out there. I know them inside and out

Can you please recommend some tipster blogs, where the predictions are argumented and explained in text form.

Hey everyone, just wondering which (if any) cappers you guys follow either from this forum or from others. I'm very new at sport betting so while I get better at calling games myself, I've been trying to find guys in forums who post their picks and have winning records over a respectable amount of time.

So far I've been following Ty Bounce on the rx forum, davydave on cappersmall and Bookiekiller on covers. (not posting links because I dont know if that against the rules).

Anyways, would love to hear where you guys get some of your picks from.

Thanks.

If you bet on MMA, JimGunn's been on a roll over the last year in the MMA thread.

Anyone who claims ******ed winrates and/or tries to charge for picks is pretty much always a clown

This is just wrong. I agree people who offer fix games or have not proven records are 99% of the time a scammer but for example on blogabet you have so many good paid services.

I pay for certain services and so far each month I make a good profit. It depends on which stakes you play. I'm a full-time bettor so paying €200 a month for a proven bettor who beat asian bookies is nothing.

At least don't pay for services who use euro bookies with low limits. You will never have the same odds.

@noidea555 just check blogabet.com, without a doubt the biggest betting website available with a lot of free blogs. All records are proven so not like on some forums where people claim to have a 25% yield longterm.
