I used to, a few years back. It was too much of a grind. Now I bet occasionally as I'm a working class person (read: non-degenerate). Still wondering why people even have these services that you can pay them for your picks. I'd imagine most people don't know more than the bookies in Vegas anyway.

I think you know less about betting sports than you think you do

this is fantastic. dunno if you came up with that on your own or it's from somewhere else, but it's fantastic regardless.

semi-relevant in this matter, but the "semi" makes it good enough for me.

i just posted a long, rambling, semi-drunken friday night post in the nba picks thread kinda talking about the same sorta thing...in that i work the standard 40 hours/week, and i wonder how and where people that do the same find the time to bet every edge. it's def a full-time job, especially if you live in LV and can bet enough to not have to actually work a full time job. me, i'm fine with the profits that betting high double and/or low triple digits bring me. relatively stress-free, can add some pimp-**** to my house every once in a while, and a down-swing doesn't affect my ability to pay the bills as my "gambling money" and my life money are separate until i cash some out to buy said pimp-****.

i'm like, the anti-degen. i know that it means my tv's will stay 50" plasma's and not 80" smart-lcd's, but i'm okay with that. lol

seems like this would apply to...well everyone? the further down the rabbit hole i go into player props, the more i realize i know absolutely DICK.

poogs you should hit me up sometime. you're always so negative around here, but i'd bet 7.0629% of my bankroll that IRL, you and me are really similar.

typa **** where if you grew up on the same street as me, we would have fist-fought 3 times by 8th grade (i woulda won 2/3 obv because you snuck me the first time) and our wives would be best friends.

Wiper unlike a lot of people my friend you have that self control when it comes to gambling. A lot of people don't have that. Mad respect. I know it gets hard when you're betting smaller than you want and winning on games, thinking of how much more you could earn, but at least you're not going broke or ever have to sweat out a mortgage on a single game lol

Sharky went bust..... karma comes to those who go tout (except for Crockpot as he still gets all my love for those tasty futures in the mid00s)... so it goes

Does that make me the all-time 2p2 NCAAF poster now?

I'm a sales guy. I sell energy subscriptions D2D in Texas. I'm looking to get into the sports betting biz. As in selling betting advice. Does anyone here have experience with such services in Vegas?

(Also a poker player, will be grinding as well)

No... In texas electricity is deregulated, so people have a choice in who they go with. I represent one such energy company and lower bills.

if you follow my picks on the tennis thread that i post for free everyday(ive posted 10 pics today for tomorrow)...u can make good money(average of +30 units for 100 picks) without paying...i post also those same daily pics on this site(bettingontennis.net) for free also with comments for each picks!!!...feel free to check both!!!....tennis is in my humble opinion by far the best sport to bet on....only 2 players with an average of 50-100 matches daily to chose from all year long!!!

If your tips are good enough to sell why aren't you just maxing them yourself for huge amounts of profit? That's the big question all touts face.

I wish esports limits could be a million dollars so I could go tout and send all the books broke, upswinging hard at the moment but limits are $250

I really do need to just blindly bet all of just_mo's nba picks instead of mine though when I feel like degenning on basketball because my picks are very... bad.

In General it is a real shady business full of scam artist and marginal gamblers constitutionally incapable of beating books. These guys sell lies and false hope to vulnerable people.

No reason to learn this business unless you plan on exposing them as the cheats and cons 95%+ of them are.
