More proof that WA lines vs -110 are very tough to beat in the major markets.

dr bob may be completely clueless as to how the current sports market functions, but let's not make **** up. he doesn't currently have any plays released.

You have been reading too many posts from my internet stalker.

I guess when a business is looking to expand they must be broke?

Who wants extra money for doing the same amount of work.

That's just silly.

Another bump for some creative writing on the page. He's erased a lot of his losing yearly stats, and published some more fictional stats. Like his CFB "Math Model" which is basically chicken**** (How many records can you possibly keep? If I could keep imaginary non-released records. I'd pwn all.)

His NFL Math Model results (which are bigger losers nao) have also been culled.

He still has his losing NCAA/NFL record up though. And his marginal basketball record.

Wow. Awesome. Someone should tell GB and Dr. Bob that the Internet Archive Wayback Machine knows all.

lolz

But really. Once something goes on the internet. Its public domain and you have little chance of getting it off there.

I saw that some time ago, but didn't understand why that happened. A mutual acquaintance (JL) explained it to me. Hearty lols ensued.

Call him The Doctor and he will just use his Tardis.

To be fair the book of sports results that Dr. Bob bought in the future stopped in 2008. Right, McFly?

Everytime I see this thread bumped, I hope there is a post from GB, but alas, it's just more expert flaming.

did you ever redesign the website? i never went to the old one but this one has a bunch of problems

http://www.drbobsports.com/index.cfm

lot of text spilling over on top of others, the right container spills out on the bottom and ironically the part that says "you will win" is covered up

prolly could use some padding on the red menu bar

on subpages the text is all messed up too

so usually when ppl ignore their attackers ppl eventually forget all about it, but im not going to let it die. i would normally not be on the flaming bandwagon, but this isn't just that.

there are some very severe accusations made in the last few posts of this thread that should lead someone to making a john morrisonesque website for dr. bob.

this just in: touts lie. not really all that new. still, you are probably right.

I don't think he's "lied" about anything. Its more so the disingenuous nature of the claims/records that are being made than actual lying. Like his ability to keep multiple records per sport with different methods. Like there is a SU/Star/Math Model for each sport. Its hard to have all three lose even when the correlation is really high.

Whatever, the dude is a shill for a thief. Life.

Don't worry, he'll just 'redesign' the math model or Star model and 'improve it' like he did 5 years ago when he was doing awful and start fresh again.

surprised you guys missed this Dr. Bob gem:

I am now just 32-31-2 (84-84-5 on a Star Basis) on my Best Bets for the season based on the line at the time of release and 29-28-2 based on the lines after they move. The Strong Opinions are 39-34 for the season after going 7-3 the last 4 weeks. This season has been defined by two 4-Star Best Bets that I lost in the final seconds earlier in the season (West Virginia against Colorado in a game West Virginia was -4 in fumbles and should have won by 30, and Arizona, who lost to Washington on an interception that deflected off a receiver's foot that was run in for the game winning TD) and the last play loss on my 3-Star on Nebraska against Colorado (again). Losing those 3 games instead of winning them is the difference in my season, as I'd be 95-73-5 on a Star Basis had those games won instead of lost and I haven't had any miracle last second wins to balance out those losses. I've had years when I've won more close games than I've lost, but this has not been one of those years.

So now he's resorting to bitching and whining about tough beats and blaming players and using the famous "right side of the #, wrong side of the result" type excuse like the other famous douche scamdicapper Brandon Lang uses to explain his suckage. I don't root for anybody to fail at life, but I love seeing every scamdicapper like Robert and Link and go down in flames

Ehh, not too egregious. Anyone who sees that his rant is a bunch of nonsense isn't buying picks from him anyway. People probably sympathize and go "Oh man, run so bad. Where do I sign up for next year's big $$$$?"

He needs to blatantly pander to the Gambler's Fallacy, quit giving off any impression that you're not a hack and just embrace it.

Man, you guys are too tough. The Doc still knows what's going on and his advice is still good. The game doesn't change just like that. The cost of the subscription may not be worth it, but if it was free, we'd all be refresshing is site every few minutes.
