collazo lol. only way he wins is if he ko's khan. I expect khan to box circles around collazo. Won't touch this fight though bc I'm a Khan fan and he was a huge favorite against Danny Garcia (I want to say -1000 or more)

Danny Garcia got very lucky. Garcia was loosing the fight, khan let his defense down and got hit hard under the ear, his first of many knock down for that fight.

khan has good speed. good enough power. only problem is , yeah, he might get knocked out. He has a decent chin but always seems to be getting knocked out P his mind is in the right place to keep getting up but idk if his body can handle it.

His speed will be too much for collazo. i think khan might get a KO win.

I love Maidana. My heart says he's going to get a lucky punch and KO Floyd in the 5th. My head says that every KO artist who ever goes up against PBF at the wrong weight tries to KO him and then either gets KOd or tires and resigns to box him (i.e. lose on points). But Maidana is an animal and never quits like the ghost or canelo did. I suppose PBF KO is the value as if Maidana gets swinging he'll get KOd like Hitman Hatton. Going to watch the banger of a fight I thought El Canelo PBF was going to be. Gl all

If someone is looking for an easy money, look into upcoming Stevenson - Fonfara and Provodnikov - Algieri fights. Should be lopsided beatdowns as well.

unlucky for khan not to get the KO win. very good effort by both fighters.
as i thought, khan was just too fast.

Damn! Whoever bet their banroll on Floyd got extremely lucky tonight! Mothaf*cka got his ass handed to him against the ropes for pretty much the ENTIRE night, but somehow he STILL grinded out the [split] decision yet again. Welcome to the corrupt/crooked world of boxing, fellas!

100% respect goes to Maidana. This guy has improved and when people think he is not good enough, he is better than the best. he walked the talk.

Maidana can now look like he can crack anyone's defense. i don't think he completely cracked through Floyd s D though, i think floyd did(just) deserve the win. Later on in the fight he becomes the aggressor and its own fight. rounds 6+. Maidana wins first half , but i give round 2 to floyd(just) and round 12 to floyd

Close close fight, but he wasn't going to knock flyd out. flyod got good hits but he wasn't KOing either tonight.

[edit] i might watch round 2 again and the fight again tbh

ah well, 10 from 10 fights and lost a couple multis because broner didn't knock out i made 7.1k in two days. variance with boxing.

still give round 2 to floyd. just.

when Maidana had him against the ropes, maybe ONE shot got through,(back head don't count) floyd blocked most of them.

haha that was me. I thought Maidana had a reason to think he won the fight. I was sweating the score because I thought Maidana did close to enough to win the fight. I really hope the khan v mayweather fight takes place and khan is a huge dog. Think it would be a solid bet to take khan however the scoring will probably be biased toward mayweather in vegas.

Btw the scoring last night was terrible. I thought the broner vs molina scoring was horrible. Molina deserved 3-4 rounds due to broners lack of punching in a few rounds. I really hate putting money on fights. I bet a lot on the first pacquiao bradley fight and decision was horrendous.

too bad for maidana that in boxing you're supposed to land your punches

Yeah this was a huge part of why i had it 115-113 Mayweather.
It doesn't actually score if all you hit is gloves an arms.
Mayweather should have done more, but you also have to think those hard shots he lands that have Maidanas head bouncing around is more effective than a flurry to the gloves.

Maidana did one hell of a job though and he deserves a rematch.

I feel Mayweather should have move around more and boxed kinda like the canelo fight. If Mayweather fought like he did against canelo, this fight would have been easier to score and a lopsided Mayweather victory.

website broker has suspended my betting account! I made 7.1k from ten boxing fights in two days. So hopefully i get this resolved with them. I will be naming and shaming them if they don't give me my $.

It's amazing, if Floyd fought anyone else again, he would make them look like a complete badie. This fight didn't show Floyds skills because maidana was just too good. I don't think Floyd is getting too old, hes got some gas left.

I don't think maidana automatically deserves the rematch for almost beating floyd. The oscar dela hoya was closer(with dela hoya pretty much winning?) debatable. . There's now some top boxers that can fight it out to have another shot at the champ(floyd) or maidana himself.

-Amir khan
-Manny pac
-Danny garcia

I think amir khan vs manny pac
and Garcia vs Saul Alvarez would be good.

Not to nitpick, but I said the same thing and was corrected. Split decision is if one judge had Maidana winning and the other 2 losing. Majority decision means 1 tied and 2 for Mayweather. Split is obviously more controversial.

I thought Maidana fought well, but Mayweather won the fight. Mayweather is slowing down, sooner or later he's going to lose. He's just getting older, it happens to everyone.

Sergio Martinez vs Miguel Cotto

Martinez at -226 seems like good value here

I think it will depend largely on how Sergio bounces back from injury. If he's 70% or better I think he will beat Cotto without too much trouble.

You could argue that Cotto is almost too small for 154. He's certainly too small for 160. The size difference is going to be drastic.

Very interesting matchup: Kovalev vs Hopkins in November. Paddy has Kovalev something like -275 and Hopkins +200.

I doubt I'll be betting on that one if the other books post similar lines. We haven't got to see Kovalev's boxing ability yet. It's pretty safe to say Hopkins is the better pure boxer, but the question is can he go the whole fight without letting one of Kovalev's freakishly powerful punches land. If it goes the distance and if there's no knockdowns then that probably means the Alien wins. But 12 rounds is a long time for that not to happen against Kovalev, assuming he has stamina (which is another thing that hasn't been tested yet).

Thoughts?

Also - do you guys think GGG vs SOG will happen? And if so, who would be favored? I'd be more excited about that fight than any so far in my lifetime. I feel like GGG would be favored due to his higher publicity, in which case I'd easily take Ward with the odds. But really the line should be pretty even, in fact I would regard Ward as a slight favorite.

He's very smart in the ring, good at game-planning and adjusting, and a master technician. He knows he'll have the job of a matador in there. If anyone has a chance of avoiding/neutralizing Krusher's power and winning a points game, it's him. I don't know of any light heavyweight with a better chance of beating Kovalev. Some would like Adonis' chances better, but Adonis is scared so that tells you something.

I hope the odds go up so I can bet Bernard (and I expect them to). If they go the other way I'll take Krusher but that's unlikely.

Thoughts on kell brook vs shawn porter. Think I'm betting a lot on shawn porter. Seems like a lot of fighters from UK are bums and exposed against US fighters. Brook's resume also looks really weak. Love the price also. -220 for porter seems like a lot of value to me.
