I'm genuinely curious.
Who gives a **** did you understand what he said? Amuses me a certain country on this planet cares more about spelling and grammar than basic common sense or being able to find Europe on a map.

the best part of these threads is that no one ever addresses or even realises that they would'nt even take your bets if you are a long-term winning sports/horse bettor.

if you think poker players bumhunting are bad, then you are in for a world of hurt if you knew what bookmakers do to restrict winning players.

I had the dealer muck a tabled winner and the pot awarded to the losing hand before. I learned that according to the casino‘s house rule a mucked hand cant win even if it was tabled - there were cameras in place. Nothing you can do I guess...

Here's some information and actual photo finish from British Horse Racing.

The important point being:

Quote:
As per the Tattersalls rules of betting, the result that was called on the day stands for betting purposes.
Think they should payout as goodwill like the other bookmakers have.

If you had backed Bird For Life would you be creating threads asking why BetStars had refused to amend the result and take back the money you were offering them in a gesture of goodwill?

Even the Racing Post image you used to explain the change explains the original result stands for betting purposes.

Any bookie that doesn’t pay out needs to have a good long look at themselves, they are cowboys. Bookies need to pay up and then vent their anger and disgust @BHAPressOffice and @kemptonparkrace for sheer incompetence. Not the punters fault at the end of the day 👍🏻 more so it's a total kick in the face to punters like me who lose longterm sports betting.

Why do they if they've settled the bet under the rules agreed by both parties at the time the bet was placed?

Should punters that backed Lance Armstrong to win the Tour de France be returning any winnings to the relevant bookies as he's since been disqualified?

How long of a time frame do you want bets to be subject to change, and do you think bookies should be recouping monies paid out on the declared winner?

If you're a longtime loser, they're actually doing you a favor whenever they refuse to change a payout decision based on an error.
